Employee Nimura has had a platonic crush on his coworker Shizuka since his first day at the company. Protecting his position as a co-worker and best friend, Nimura discovers that Shizuka has been invited to a group date and, even though he wasn't invited, he goes along with him to distance all the women who approach Shizuka and, on the way home, ends up declaring himself. Not wanting to lose his friend, Shizuka accepts, much to Nimura's surprise. He is happy to be able to date Shizuka, but having his feelings reciprocated is hard work...
