Description
The story is about Hare, a 10 year old boy who lives with his mother Weda in a small village in a very strange jungle. Hare's mom is a bit of a "party girl" and likes to sleep in all day and party with her girl friends all night. Things change one evening when Weda comes home with a little "playmate" for Hare, a pretty little girl named Guu. But when Hare wakes up the next morning, Guu has "transformed" into a sullen, nasty, and sarcastic joker who takes great pleasure in making Hare's life utterly miserable. Much like the anime, the manga ends on a cliffhanger.
Guu's name is spelled Goo in English text in the raws.
Ueda & Hare are English puns on Weather & Hale (chunks of ice rain) mixed with actual Japanese names. Same goes for other characters like Lazy/Leiji.
Elizabeth is what we called a "crossdresser" back in the 90s & a "trans lesbian" today. This never made it into the anime.

i've just watched the whole anime and im shocked and heartbroken that the manga lies here untranslated. that's awful! this should be a classic!! SOMEONE SHOULD FIX THIS ;o;
well, im a manga person, but in this case i would say watch the anime, the sound is really nice and makes u laugh really hard, wont hurt to read the manga too its nice ^^
