Description

the rape in this story isn't one that I could bear
. I skipped that part and managed to read until the end, but it got more and more unbearable as the story comes to an end. Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The attempt of murder of Chenyu by a senior, and the harsh "disown" of Chenyu's mom that lead to his suicide afterwards is what cut it for me. Absolutely no trigger warnings, and the abrupt end got me shocked and almost made me cry. Also Part 1 ended with way too many unresolved issues.

Giving a 6 because I couldn't finish the story. It was great up to a point.. the art is good, the characters are mostly lovable. And then..
I could no longer root for the characters to end up together, so there was not point to continue reading it.

the rape happens. I have a high tolerance for rape, being an avid reader of yaoi. You come to expect rape scenes where the uke is "oh no, I really want this but I'm embarrassed or something so I'm allowing you to force me". This is not that kind of rape.
I could no longer root for the characters to end up together, so there was not point to continue reading it.
