In my opinion...

I think that this manga was missing something essential that Odagiri-sensei's work usually has. I am not really sure what it is missing... it probably is the chemistry between the main characters that is so evident in some of Sensei's work.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I think that if the characters had more time to develop and if there were more memory flashbacks of shiro and Satarou's relationship and how they both realized they liked each other and how their feelings developed, it could have been really touching and the reaction and feeling of relief the reader would have felt when Satarou finally received Shiro's letter after three years would have been ten times stronger than it was in actuality. That is just my opinion.
Overall it was okay if you are just looking for something to read quickly. But this isn't really profound or something that makes you think. nice art though.

Short and cute.

As shounen-ai go, this is your typical short-but-cute story with typical BL-style art.
What I didn't like about this has to do with one of my personal pet peeves: the basis for the story is actually just a giant misunderstanding. Plots that revolve around misunderstanding irk me.

Overall, I liked this; it's nothing spectacular or particularly unique, but it's a short, innocent story perfect for a quick BL fix.

i thought it was pretty cute- the plot device was interesting and the way that the characters' emotions were portrayed was effective. especially if you go back and read why things are the way they are. X3

Im not really into this kind of stories.I really didn't care much for the first 2 chapters, the drama is too cliche. I really wish that it went the other way that satoru and the editor chief end up together. O well, art was nice but plot is mediocre.

You know, had I never read BL before, I probably would have rated it higher. I like the general plot outline, and I like that characters well enough, but this is played out like a soap opera. Every little thing is followed by a lot of drama. I felt for Shirou and all, thinking that everything was just a cruel joke after they graduated middle school and he was left hanging by the gates, but at some point after two years worth of confessions he should pick up on those feelings.

The art is very very shoujo, and while lovely, is not really my thing. Overall it isn't bad, but it isn't great either.

the characters were all so cute!
satoru is definitely an angel. if you only read the very last page you'd think he was a player xD.

Having read many shounen ai and yaoi alike i have to say this is the first one that all i can say is.....well that was stupid. The story was just blah because it just seemed like every chapter the same thing kept repeating itself, too much misunderstandings and at the last minute happy ever after? Other than the art i felt nothing.

its cute work. art is cute, and so is the plot, as you can tell the whole plot just revolves around this confession-thing and the heart of the problem becomes revealed gradually so thats ok. Nothing major happens but its cute, something to read on a rainy day bigrazz
