I decided to binge this manga after watching a YouTube video on the artist's life. I thought it was interesting so decided to take a look.
Boy I really felt like I have wasted an entire day. Could've done other stuff, so I had to create an account just for this.
The MC, like others have said, is terribly boring and a huge coward, even by average MC standards. He constantly chickens out and lies and tries to redeem himself through "heart".
The girls, let's briefly discuss them. You've got
Ex girlfriend: Manipulative beeotch who will stop at nothing to break up couples. She actually makes this story more spicy funny enough.
Main girl, the fake girlfriend: She's cool and has an interesting backstory.
Side chick high school girl who has huge crush on MC: she starts off great, the tell em aggressive girl, but lately she's been getting a little annoyingly clingy. Maybe has to due with her young age though.
Shy girl: Wholesome and one of the few people that is good in this show.
Generation Z girl who speaks like an Internet dictionary: not interesting at all.
The series starts off slow but picks up quickly, with character development building including tragic backstories, decent arcs, and drama! But then this recipe appears to repeat over and over again, till it's like beating a dead horse some more. I think I speak for.many people it was exhausting to watch MC f up once again through his cowardliness and the girls to try to cover his butt. By chapter 70 something I was getting fatigued and ended up skimming the rest of the manga in under an hour.
If you like manga which doesn't make too much sense logic wise and has fanservice, this is fine. But plot wise, it's okay at best, and can get repetitive fast.
My recommendation: Skip!
