The truth is i actually dropped this a few chapters in a while ago, but I tried to give it another chance this time around and it was worth it 🙂

Even if I don’t understand all of her actions, I like the fl. She is mature indeed, but also intelligent and self-aware. On the other hand the ml is lacking, he is childish and obsessive, but as he is also caring and genuine I still enjoy their relationship.
I also like the side characters, especially Raelle ! I expected a typical shoujo female character (cute but useless) however she isn’t like that at all. Far from being a pushover, she is strong, resilient but remains gentle. She’s precious. I hope she will find happiness, and that she will manage to become close friends with Yunifer. Speaking of which I don’t understand why Yunifer tries so hard to avoid her, she even comes off as a bitch sometimes. I understand that she wants to prevent her own death sentence but why not befriend Raelle instead then ? Btw the reincarnation issue is not part of the plot at all, it could have easily be a stand alone story. It has no relevance here if not straining the mcs relationship and somewhat explaining her behavior with Raelle...

Anyway, although it’s shallow and light hearted, it is still a good read, thanks to the female leads who are quite interesting and because it feels more mature (having the mcs sexually involved is rare in this kind of stories. I like it, it adds dimension). I also appreciate the effort in the worldbuilding. For the moment I’ve read up until chapter 60.

The FL is indeed mature, interesting and well defined, a good character to carry the story, unfortunately, the ML is the oposite, he's personality and attitude are ok for a small kid, but he's a man, a grown man yet he's childish, needy, possessive and to be honest somewhat scary. Lately I've read many manhwas and manhuas that have an interesting and engaging FL but there are really few where the same thing applies to the ML, they tend to be pieces of sh*t or the annoyingly perfect white prince's cliché, it's rare to find both.
There is a scene where the MC tries to explain to the ML that just because she likes something he doesn't have to harm himself to give it to her... it's like a mother talking to her 5 year old little boy. Their relation is thus like that of a mother and her child, that's the feeling I usually get from their banter and actions, but they are a sexually active couple, I find it a bit creepy. this kind of interactions are what fill most of this romance driven story, and while I like romance, for stories over 20 or so chapters I prefer it as a subplot not as the main driving plot.
Story-wise it's yet another version of the "living inside a novel as the villain" story that is in vogue lately, can't say much more about it other than it's a bit annoying how the FL persists in thinking that things will inevitably go the way they did in the novel when every thing that happens seem to indicate otherwise.

Wow I'm in love with the FL. She's surprisingly mature in various situations compared to other otome isekai female leads. For one, she realizes that even though she lives in a potentially preordained book world, the book characters she interact with are still people with their own free will and feelings. She doesn't try to force things to go in any particular direction because "destiny" or "fate." Rather, she is good at adult compromise.

I'm in love with this character's thoughtfulness and sexual maturity. She doesn't run away screaming after a one-night stand (although she initially wanted to), but instead had a fruitful conversation with the other party. She has dirty thoughts often in innocent contexts, which make her more real and funny.

The interactions she has with others are just A+.

The heroine is a mature lady, but has her "childish" moments that add that bit of flavour in her personality. I usually prefer if main characters were just a little kinder than this FL, but she's still amazing. There's not much plot yet, for now i think it just revolves around building their relationship up and healing the ML. Their relationship is realistic, with the female lead admitting to her faults when she makes mistakes, and she never throws tantrums at the ML. The ML is super loving and gentlemanly and mature. A mature relationship? That's something I haven't read in a long while lol.
And what's a plus point is that I can't tell whether the female lead is considered beautiful in the series as they never mentioned her looks. The male lead fell in love with her solely based on her personality, and even though she was attracted to him based on his looks, she only fell in love because of his personality. Such a refreshing change to a lot of shallow comics where the FL has non-existent charm or knowledge with an unlikeable personality but brings all the boys to her yard.
Will continue reading it and it certainly is worth a try.

Apparently there's a prelude chapter that sets the ball rolling, as Chapter One has an abrupt start, but the basic summary of the story is that a woman is "isekai'd" into an otome-style romance novel where she discovers she is the villainess of the story. She resolves herself not to get involved in the story's plot, where the villainess suffers a destruction end, but winds up neck-deep many years later. This is because she gets drunk at a party, seduces the novel's male lead, and ends up spending all night engaged in hot, raunchy, toe-curling sex with said ML. Chapter One kicks off with her waking up the next morning and realizing she's thrown herself into the deep end of the novel's plot, coming to terms with it, and resolving to mitigate the damage to the best of her abilities.

I am so happy to have found this and I hope it continues to get translated. So rare to get mature isekai.
