I read a lot of yaoi manhwa's but this one changed my life forever. The best thing my eyes ever saw.

What a incredible twist! After reading tons or red flag yaoi, and seeing people always prefer green flags, we finally have a manhwa which has an extremely green flag seme, but with a catch - he doesn't really love his uke. Ha ha, take that! No, truly, SiYeon, as a seme, is the best seme in the world when you look at ta from a perspective of being a supportive partner - he's always there for namwoo, buys him everything, has enough understand for his whims, tries very, very hard to cater to his needs and so on. He just doesn't love him. And boy, this creates such a wonderfully realistic but oh so painful emotional entanglement. And I LOVE this manhwa for it! it's not overtly dramatic,there is nothing over the top about it, and everybody is written as a two dimensional character, instead of yaoi cliches. After criticizing so many red flag semes, we have the exact opposite problem here. Would you like to be with a man who treats you wonderfully, but his affections for you are shallow and not profound? What woudl you rather choose? A difficult red flag seme, or a paper thin very nice green flag seme? Some interesting questions are raised here. The perfect seme would be a mix of those two, without the bad parts of either and with just the good parts remaining. He he, not so easy finding them in fiction or real life, agree?

And Namwoo and Siyeon are so cute, endearing, complex, you love them and want to strangle them the next moment - just like in real life. While I found their background to be a bit yaoi cliches (poor drunken parents and emotionally distant rich parents), and there are some cliches in the story, one can simply slide over it and enjoy the warm and sexy as heck push and pull between the uke and the seme. And the art is gorgeous! Without any further ado, just read this! Anyone who wants more from a manhwa will not regret it!

If you want to read smut-focus with no plot, this is not for you. But if you want to read a character-focus story with well-written character development and healthy relationship of the couple, this is for you.



Overall, it‘s worth my time. I would love to see more meaningful stories like Love For Sale.✨

THIS IS REALLY GOOD! If you’re looking for a really great read, this is it! It is a love story but it focuses more on their traumas/anxieties - how the couple were able to heal because of the love they have for each other. The side stories were also really sweet! It’s a mature and well-written story. I’ve read a lot of BL/yaoi and this one is a breath of fresh air!

PS. Contrary to the other review, it may not be your usual BL love story but it does have A VERY SATISFYING HAPPY ENDING. That review kinda spoiled it for me, I really thought it won’t have one so I was really preparing myself for the worst. So I feel the need to correct that part for future readers

Damn such a mature and everyday story. I loved it!  Drama doesn't feel superficial, characters very honest and ower all it makes you feel good in the end. Loved charter design, loved smaller top, loved there dynamic.

This is not your typical BL love story, despite the premise of love in exchange for money. It really delves into the inividual of the MC as someone in their 20s and having no direction. Hence, having an older seemingly reliable lover makes him question what he wants and what he can do. The second half focuses on the LI and the story gets relatively deeper. To the end it's pretty uncertain if those two wil be able to work it out in the long run, but I like the realistic aspects. I especially like how the people around them are engaged in the story and their relationship, as it adds to the realistic portrayal. The ending will not be a satisfying happy end, so it's not for everyone but the writing was really nice.

But is not a 10.
In the middle I catch myself feeling bored. It started good and ends good, but I miss some points. What was happening with the redhead and the ex crush. Why he liked the main character before.. I miss the resolution to the family field, too.
The smut was really interesting at first, but seeing the explanation on the end, the author got herself a real struggle because people was not enjoying the seme and she just made him to be hit. I laugh at this. But yes, the middle was confused and without smut at all because of that.

I don't know if it's just my personal issues or what, but I relate way too much to both main characters. The emotional journey of this comic is extremely authentic, but it still has a sheen of the webtoon drama that I so desperately crave. Truly perfect.
