Description

Nobody is sympathetic in this. No one is likeable. Not even the comatose mom.

There's no one to cheer for. You don't even want to hope for bad things to happen to these people. Like, I want nothing to do with this manhwa.

If it's just taboo erotica then it's not doing it for me either. Who is this even written/drawn for?

MAJOR SPOILER

Dad and son are not blood related. Since the dad never treated the son like his own child, ever, it can't even be called incest from his end. Not sure if dad knows he's not the bio dad.

It most definitely is incest from the kid's side though. Kid genuinely believed the dad was his bio dad and genuinely wanted a father in his life until the bombshell dropped. It was only after finding out that they're not blood related did the son forced the relationship into rape territory.

One of the best psychological short stories I’ve read. I liked the BDSM elements and I love a middle-aged bottom.

The side story AU was a great contrast to the main story to show how he might’ve been if his dreams weren’t utterly crushed. A nice happy ending to soothe the bitterness of the main story too.

It’s a shame though that the author couldn’t do real incest, it really takes away from the plot twist when you know Korean publishers aren’t allowed to depict any real incest in their stories.

Finally finished reading it. I'm a huge fan of psychological stories, but this is the first one where I couldn't connect with any of the characters. I think that was due to the disgusting art. The plot was good, and with the right art, it definitely would have received a much, much higher rating from me. Plot 9/10 Character 1/10 Art 1/10
