At first glance, it seems like you're getting above average isekai. FL seems likable and the tropes used can lead into a potentially interesting story.
However, from the beginning, you get the feeling that something is not right. This goes above the typical isekai nonsense like FL having an overly abusive family for no reason or FL having genius powers out of nowhere. You get this voice in your head that questions why it does not work in this story when it worked in hundreds of other isekais.
Why was the relatively detailed family drama introduced in the first chapters, when the story suddenly changes to be about the house that she buys? And now demons and sorcerers living for hundreds of years is a normal thing in this world? Where did that cat come from? Why do people just come over to the house as they please? Why is FL sometimes a shrewd woman with some previous experiences with men but sometimes she's a clueless blushing FL who does not know anything about the world that she exists in? If ML is hanging out in her house so often, why did the author decide to make it immediately into romantic feelings? Would it not be more natural if they were just friends who ended up having more feelings toward each other as the story progressed?
It then started to feel chaotic and inconsistent. As if somebody thought of the world, characters, and their stories but without an actual plot on how to link this all together and just makes the plot out as it goes. The plot literally seems to be happening between the chapters (!), which is something I do not see often even in bad isekais.
This alone would not made me write this whole review but after I read chapter 31, I got so annoyed with FL that I just needed to vent. FL ordeal with her sister was so petty that I cannot handle reading anymore to find out how it's going to end.
In other isekai, the trashing of sister's wedding would be out of revenge because her sister is marrying her fiancee. Here her sister did steal her fiancee, but her sister broke up with him and is marrying now some completely other dude! And FL didn't care about the fiancee in the first place! There was no indication that she loved him and she only mentioned him as 'a brainless fiancee', so why do FL need revenge? Now, the new guy her sister has chosen for the money is a no-good 'I want a young wife' and 'stealing from the poor' 60-year-old businessman. That should be good enough as a self-roast, right? No. For whatever reason she arrives at her sister's wedding to get all of the attention. FL immediately starts a feud by threatening to ruin the guy by getting all of the land on which his shops are. Sister tries to play the victim to stop FL from ruining her wedding (which is understandable from her point) and when it doesn't work - she gets called out and humiliated (again - at her own wedding (!)). Understandably, the sister gets mad and fed up with everything FL pulled out. She vents her frustrations and in that she just mentions that something smells bad. For this mention, the demon that FL summoned, takes it personally and changes the sister into a turtle. Yeah, this hundred or thousand-year-old demon turtle has a personal hygiene problem and thinks that any mention of bad smell is about it. Go wash yourself in a fucking the ocean rather than turning people left and right to turtles.
The best part is that the FL explains that her sister is sensitive to smells. So FL knew that her sister would react like that and will be punished by the demon. In her thoughts, this obviously confirms that FL herself thinks that the turtle is 'stinky' as well. However, because she's FL, she didn't do anything wrong. Turtle demon loves her thus no turtle curse for our FL's rude thoughts.
At the point, where I stopped reading, the future brother-in-law is given a choice - return his future wife to be human (whom he met probably not too long ago) or risk losing family fortune. He chooses his money (what a fucking surprise) and our FL judges him for it. Even though, he was happy that his wife is human again, when FL turned her sister back. After turning her sister back human, FL had the audacity to ask her to be thankfull that she was so merciful and turned her back. Bitch, you did that. Whatever bullying that sister did to you as a kid, you deserved that for what you did to her that day. Ughhhhhhhh
Really, I feeling sorry for those two, which is not good because they clearly are not a good people. FL just goes so over the top over petty shit that I see her more as villainess that the so-called minor villains. And not good type of villainess because she doesn't own the fact that she's does bad stuff like Ariadne from 'I'm the Queen in this Life' or Aria from 'The Villainess Reverses the Hourglass'. She just 'pays back' what the random characters apparently deserve (which they don't). And of course, everyone is fucking clapping that FL is such a nice and talented person when she doesn't do anything herself. Ugh.
