Description

MC becomes unbearable and ruins the series

Started off pretty funny, adding a lot of personality to the usual formula of "OP support guy gets kicked out of arrogant S-rank party". Both the loser gang and the MC's fashion sense were enjoyable at the start, and even the side characters had a lot of charm but...
15 chapters later, now any form of "comedy" is derived from the MC not acknowledging how insane his skills and tools are + the classic misunderstandings that appear in these type of shows.
The comedy becomes unbearable, the once interesting and expressive characters become tools to deliver the most generic lines imaginable and, once that charm fades, you start noticing how the world isn't very fleshed out yet. Right then we do get a lot more worldbuilding, with a decent side group and the idiot gang, just to then shift back to the Gail's side and see him become even more dense, OP, and annoying.
Also, when you consider how the story wouldn't exist without 2-3 very easy to avoid misunderstanding, then the whole thing falls apart.

The art is average, but (most of) the character designs are good. Their personalities are sometimes good and sometimes cliche, but enough of them do things differently that their interactions are enjoyable. And the story setup has both overarching and local plots (very simple ones, but not bad). The problems, however, are the kind that make me, as a reader, lose immersion.

The party that kicked the main character out are too weak for the plot to make sense, and also contradict the information we are given about the help they initially received. The party is S rank with the help of the cursed items, and the main character says they'll lose about 20% of their strength. The party goes on to fail beginner quests and only survive because they're so weak the monsters they encounter are more confused than threatened.

This just isn't believable, and takes me right out of the story. It sometimes breaks my suspension of disbelief.

The main character is so naive about the the cursed items he makes it goes past just having a different personality, beyond being a jerk, and right to low IQ "I'm too stupid to recognize other people don't think the same way as I do." characterization. It happens so often I sometimes start to hate the main character. And the author keeps repeating it like a broken record.
The main character's abilities sometimes get expanded in ways that don't make sense because apparently "dispel" also means "listen to". I see this in many other stories, where authors give new definitions to words because they can't be bothered to be better writers and write in an ability they want characters to have in a believable way. Other times the main character's abilities just feel like they aren't as consistent as they ought to be.
Fight scenes are a toss-up: sometimes they make sense and sometimes characters and monsters take turns. I've seen worse, but I also shouldn't feel like I'm watching a comedy skit, which some of them feel like.

I've read much worse, but I've also read much better. I don't hate anything, but I also call BS on too many things for it not to hurt the story. I wanted to get immersed, but I couldn't. At least there isn't anything that would be different about the plot if the story was better, so I can at least say there aren't any real plot holes.

This series would have been an enjoyable read, but nothing more, if the main character had just acknowledged his abilities even a little. Instead, he calls an item that quadruples his strength a "home decoration" and remains completely oblivious to the fact that his curse-dispelling ability transcends even the Demon King's curse and can exorcise death incarnate a demigod

With how on the spectrum the MC is, you would think this was an isekai, but no, he was born retarded. Not only that, since its a harem, he's denser than two colliding black holes.

Good for first few chapters with interesting premise, but protag is oblivious to his own strength and is just slowly amassing a harem. Typical.
