Kim Jee-Ha comes from a good background with decent grades and test results; however, he has one big flaw - when it comes to official events like university interviews for example, he is horrible. To overcome his social awkwardness, he embarks upon the virtual reality game Trikia where he meets an eccentric high level undead Nine - his future guild master.

This manhwa was created by author Taeseon, author Seong Sangyeong (who is the author of the manhwa "The Gamer" (2013) and Taeseon's husband) and artist Crew.
Until 2014, Seong Sangyeong was a popular writer, and Taeseon was a little-known writer. Seong Sangyeong became interested in Taeseon through her manhwa "[리메이크] 신룡의 주인" (Korean: "The owner of the divine dragon: Remake", 2012, discontinued) and he promised her that he would teach her how to create popular manhwas based on her novels, so in 2014 they started releasing the manhwa "Dusk Howler" based on Taeseon's novel "Dusk Howler" (2009–2010).
On November 29, 2014, Taeseon married Seong Sangyeong.
The cover of the manhwa "Dusk Howler" does not include Seong Sangyeong's name because he wanted his wife to get all the glory, not him. But in chapter №51 in the manhwa "Dusk Howler", Taeseon admitted to readers that her husband is also working on this manhwa.
Also while working on the manhwa "Dusk Howler" (from July 2014 to July 2016), Taeseon wrote the web novel "Dusk Howler 2" (xianxia, from November 2015 to November 2016).
