Ch.24 -- "Better in the long run"?
He really was going to push that other artist into the gutter to deal with plagiarism by herself, despite knowing her popularity is waning? So, instead of trying to help keep what relevancy she has he just...did that?
As long as his artist (Yumi) wasn't affected, I guess ignoring the considerable damage to others is fine in his book.
Ch. 27 -- Wow. So, he really was NOT going to tell Yena anything about that plagiarist? He just let it all come to this dramatic, very public fight in their office and so now the entire damn company knows?
Way to respect another artist, dad. Should have pulled Yena and her manager aside then given them the evidence.
Yep. I'm done. I hate the MC. He's just as passive in this second life as his first. It's aggravating and frustrating to read.
Like, this guy needs to grow a pair by addressing all the shit in the past and making things right. Even if he doesn't care about anyone else, even himself, there's still his daughter who looks up to him.
He knows exactly who screwed him over. He knew exactly how that guy will screw over other people like him. He knew exactly about what's going to happen to the artists if he doesn't say anything.
He doesn't do anything about ANY of it. At all. Until his problems finds out it's HIM like that Toothless Cat guy who then makes trouble.
The only thing he's proactive about is his daughter's daily life. The way he's so concerned about her is kind of suffocating. I get that he has every right to do that considering his first life BUT he's seriously on his way to enmeshing his life with his daughter's in a very, VERY unhealthy way.
