Kudos to the author for an unconventional MC and story about cheating. 10/10 for a novel story with decent twists and turns. Even though I hated it, I finished it.

Onto the story. The story is all about character, and the main character is trash, so the story leaves a trashy taste behind. MC is a selfish pos. He's characterized as an apathetic person who grew up in an neglectful household, but somehow the entire story still comes out "boohoo woe is me". The end was crap even though it was left open-ended.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
He's like 40 and went a date with the high school daughter of the wife he cheated with ... I guess that makes sense? Because that's the type of person who cheats? Anyhow, even though MC is the one to do everything wrong, admits it, and eventually regrets it, his redemption is trash. Because it's somehow still all about him ... him moping around ... him being sad about not having a bright person around anymore ... blah.

tl;dr Story about MC cheating. MC is predictably trash. Story is surprisingly solid. Hate it. Love it. Never reading it again.

About DSC.

I read this manga last year. I think it's great, right? New storyline, great drawings. Well you know, although not too satisfied with the ending, DSC still impressed me with the dark colors mixed with the dark side, the human blindness. Rarely does any manga talk about this topic nowadays! In addition, Iori (artist/author) is also starting a new manga <Inu to Kuzu> (or <Dog and Scum> in English) and she has two other one-shots. If you can, support her.

I finished reading this a couple of days ago and I should've made a review that moment because my reactions were fresh. But anyway.

The ending was open-ended so that part felt unsatisfying. But I love how consequences are depicted. I love how flawed and imperfect the characters are. Life is not rainbows and unicorns for everyone, after all. But man, this was an intense and heavy story. 😕

Not one for softies.

I hate cheating man in general 😂. But honestly this manga is so good and grabbed all my attention. I mean everyone has their own view on love, and we may see what the MC did it super wrong but the way the author built up the story made me want to keep reading it, as the same time my heart sink for a thousand time just by looking at Sa-chan 🤦🏻♀️

Every spoiled teenage brats like to think they are the center of the world. So a boy think he had the right to have his own harem is actually not that hard to imagine.

But the way that the author interpreted the idea was utterly distasteful, blaming it was the fmc fault every time despite 4 years of somehow still not be able to understand the mind of his maiden lover. Dude, you guys are both virgins, at least learn from somewhere how to set the mood, be the active one or realize that maybe you guys aren't fit with each others.

The author should provide more info of the mc plus points, real reasons for his selfishness. Being a scum and knowing it would make him insecure as hell, how would he have the courage to be two timing with such a great girl? What rights or on what measurement standards influenced him to just accept this somebody wife's ideology? Does the majority or people around him bragged about their "conquests"?
