The first story's premise is very interesting but the actual explanation to what's really happening to Yoichi or how Shiraku gained his power etc. was completely inadequate and unclear. The mangaka kinda just glossed over all the logic talk and skipped right ahead to the steamy stuff lol, which makes the smut kinda unsatisfying despite being quite hot because so many questions were still left unanswered.

Second story is even more confusing as there were a bunch of names of people and objects dumped on the audience right from the beginning and throughout the story; it only takes a moment of distraction to be totally lost in the sea of meaningless words in the dialogues. I also didn't enjoy the smut very much because it just felt so unnecessary like some kind of shoehorned fanservice that came out of no where with no romantic mood setting up for it at all.

Third story is not terrible but it's not amazing either, and overall just seems insignificant especially when preceeded by two much more colourful and imaginative stories.

I think my favourite thing about this manga is the chibi art and those adorable mystical creatures in the second story. I was definitely more entertained by them than by the main characters tbh lol.

With Naono sensei you always get good art, decent plot, great characters, and cavity causing fluff. This work is on par with her best... But I say that about almost all of her works LOL

I absolutely LOVE the cover story. Even without the magical elements, they're such a cute couple. I guess I'm a sucker for lonely kid/elder mentor pairings (maybe that's why I love Naono Bohra so much). The second chapter takes the cake, though. Shiraku is so adorable after the accident, I just want to squeeze him like a teddy bear. And hoo boy, poor Yoichi. I feel your pain, my friend. XD
