why is that I feel towards the end, the deus ex machina plot suddenly like, thrown here and there? I've watched the anime and tried to read the manga because I found the anime interesting (and also because I remember wrongly, I thought the anime only reached some point in manga...) tho.

I like Black Cat cause it used a pretty interesting set-up where the main chara is not a useless brat at the start, and I like Train's heavy background pretty much. While all the element feels pretty nice along the way, but I felt that towards the end, it's so... yeah, dunno.

Anyway, it's still good, ...especially if you haven't read too much shounen.

I thought this was just a mediocre series. Nothing really stood out from other Shounen series. Also, the characters don't have enough development. Except for the 3 main characters, I didn't really know anything about any of the others, which didn't draw me into the story.

I love this series cuz it was the first manga I've ever read... I loved it!! It's really funny...

Having seen the complaints about this series I think they're nonsense. I often find myself wanting to read a generic shounen story. This one is a great example of that. While these stories will never find a place as the Best story ever or anything they are still quite entertaining.

im sad. i had this on hold for like a year and never read the last chapters. im so sad. i hope there will be a sequel.
i think this deserves better than what i gave it but there were a lot of useless chapters in the middle and the last part seemed to drag on a bit

I thought this was a great shonen series that had an original and entertaining plotline. The length of the series may be daunting but I found myself eating through chapters, although I did tend to forget minor details due to the slight repetetiveness

I decided to read the manga after watching the anime. The anime, it turned out, got so many things wrong and revealed some glaring plot holes. Like how come Train had a change of heart after knowing Saya for a week tops?? But the manga gave adequate explanation for all phenomena and I was satisfied. It was weird to see Train drop down from the position of a scary assassin to a goofy milk-loving guy who is just too good with the gun. It was a great read with amazing action and funny fillers. And I love Janus and Train (hot guys!!!!!).
A must read for all those action lovers out there.
