Beautiful art, characters personalities are clear, concise. The MC and ML have a clear past background. Love me an obsessive manipulative psycho (a tiny bit lol) top yet is gentle and kind caring to the bottom (but also crazy when it comes to him). I love their designs. The top being tall and handsome. The bottom being short, pretty/androgynous.

It's been only 40+ chapters but so far it's so good! Might not be perfect (I mean, some things are might be way too convenient as a plot devices....e.g. the giant food pot scene, the champagne drunk scene, all the convinient eavesdropping....) but I just love the gradual build up of their relationship and the overall writing.

Side characters get introduced but forgotten! They get introduced and actually play solid roles story wise, but don't get thrown aside and never mentioned anymore.
I think the pacing is just about right. I'm so glad compared to their other work (Viewfinder) the author just has one main couple and just important side characters.

This is a HUGE and I mean giant improvement story/character/writing wise from the author EZ. With their other webtoon Viewfinder I had to drop it since it was a bit confusing, and the fact that they were going to focus on so many different couples all in one webtoon without actually doing a good job on it (e.g. compared to Topsy Curvy, e.g. compared to No Kidding webtoon).

I'm hoping season 2 ends with them graduating and then hopefully there is a season 3 where they actually go to college! Maybe it's pushing it but I am also HOPING for even a season 4 in the future! After they have graduated from college and are working out there. Or season 3 being a combo of college+later working.

Viewfinder their previous work was R19 so I imagine the author would want to include those type of actually explicit scenes between the two later in other seasons/side stories. (I mean...the various things that happen during Season 1+Season2 makes you as a reader think that there will be actual explicit stuff later down the line in seasons/side stories).

I love how, despite having antisocial traits by nature, and having them reinforced by nurture, this messed up seme can act like a regular person just enough to be pitiable. As in, I pity him, not that he acts pitiful.

So far it seems like he has genuine feelings toward uke, but he doesn't have the emotional catalog to process those feelings so he can only follow his instinct. And since he had such poor examples of "love" from his parents, his instinct is dark and twisted. I truly want him to find happiness with the (clueless, resilient, not completely lacking a backbone) uke. At least seme understands that he has antisocial traits.

Seme's character completely overshadows uke's character in terms of depth. Uke has his own shit going on too. He's not some bland doormat, but still...it seems like he exists for the sake of exploring seme's character. Hope he gets some more personal development.

Uodate: The way Jihwan is isolating Sooyoung from his friends is absolutely chilling. Sooyoung is gonna find he has no one to rely on other than Jihwan if he doesn't catch on soon.

Pretty standard poor whump uke / rich seme but what makes it such a standout (imo) is the way the seme's lying, gaslighting and manipulation is written.

It's seriously fantastic, often a manipulative seme will tell absurd lies or make stupid decisions but here, he knows EXACTLY when to press the pushover uke's boundaries and when to back off and approach in a different manner. It's to the point where if the seme talks, it's safer to assume he's lying than telling the truth. He's always clever so it's satisfying (in a twisted way) to see him weasel his way into the unwitting uke's heart.

The art style isn't a standout but even so is very solid.

This is a pretty sexy and slow romance so far. The seme can be kind of a jerk with some people, but he's really gentle with Uke and protective. Uke's ex is such a creep.
It's really sexy so far with a dark, angsty, uneasy, atmosphere. Poor Uke has a lot of stressful things in his life, but he's tough. He barely ever cries (not that there's anything wrong with a man crying, but uke's are often portrayed as being silly/weak/etc, so it's refreshing to have one who breaks the mold), and I like that he's reserved and guarded with others and strong inside even though he's scared and stressed most of the time. He's been through some hard times and he's working hard for a better life for himself and his family - that's my favorite kind of Uke.
