Honestly, everything just falls into place TOO perfectly. The plot is all over the place and it's hard to keep up. I know I sometimes complain about plots that are too singular, but this webtoon showcases several unsolved plots in every episode. The FL is also suddenly just liked by everyone for no reason. Her dad, sure, but the ML? No explanation for this either.

There is also no chemistry between her and the kid. Or really, anyone with the kid. He's just there as 'the reason' she's doing all of this: to protect the kid.

Not super recommended if you want something simple. This is pretty complicated.

Tbh, a lot of the story's direction feels really forced. Weirdly, the premise is set up to work for some of the plot the story takes, but the execution in utilizing much of it is rather poorly done that the pacing doesn't feel natural. Mostly, I'm not a fan of how forced a lot of the MC's reaction to things and other ppl's reaction to her are, esp the instant 180 change ppl take after barely interacting with the MC which feel more like it occurred bc the plot needed it to.

It kind of felt like the author just wanted to have a "everyone hates the OG but then love the MC when she crosses over" type of setting but wasn't interested in exploring anyone's change in perception. Unfortunately, it makes the relationships the MC has end up being pretty boring to read. And the author leaning so heavily on tired misunderstandings and avoidance of characters actually listening and communicating with each other doesn't help either. The nephew is cute and the story is best when the plot actually focuses on him, but he tends to become a one-note prop device most of the time. And the ML kind of doesn't have a personality other than bland.

Idk, maybe the novel tells the story better?

Dunno what happened, but the pacing of the story just sped up fivefold after chapter 9. And the translation turned weird.

This manhwa has a perfect plot but still waiting for it to complete.

Unnecessary plot devices to string together details into a more coherent plot.

Random prophetic visions, sacred animal, aesthetic detail eye.
Used (or just mentioned) to justify random actions and involve the protagonist in the 'plot'.

The story itself is weirdly bland and lacks focus, even the child's affection feels forced like a justification or plot device, given how little we see of them.
