Making News

This is a fascinasting and weird manga. It’s about radio, or more accurately, about a radio host making news. As in, getting into weird newsworthy situations and then eventually reporting on them (including on a bizarre radio-related cult).

The cast is great, full of fleshed-out personalities with plenty of flaws. For instance, the protagonist makes for a great radio host but doesn’t remotely have her life in order; the story depicts a bunch of relationships, all of which are dysfunctional; and the radio people are distinctly aware that they're part of a declining industry.
