And I am the idiot with a painted face… 😭😭😭 what’d I even expect man, a badass and independent female protagonist? How unrealistic! Of course her life must be full of suffering! Even when you think she is saved, she will just from one miserable situation to another! Alas, that is the fate of ‘strong’ female protagonists! They cannot have power without a man controlling them!

It’s like she's on death row without any forseeable end and her judge/executioner uses his power to seduce her.

It’s kinda fcked up people still defend him... makes me wish the same for them in life to see if they would really enjoy it, the feeling of knowing someone wants to kill your for a goal and not knowing when... And it is so obvious the only reason he is defended is cause his appearance. If he was fat and ugly instead of fit and handsome, people would think otherwise lol

Also this is so creepy. He’s kissing her and asking to sleep with her, while keeping her under the subjugation contract and actively using his powers to control her (eg when she refused to move to where he was and he used the contract to force her body to get up and move). I’m crashing out I can’t do this anymore.

I had to put this down at 73 because ML is so toxic and I’m tiredddd of it like FUCK off. I can’t do this anymore. For anyone who wants to see EXACTLY, what I’m talking about, read chapter 73-74 before reading the manhwa. Deadass. Trust me. It pretty much sums up their relationship.

I really liked it first but a story just get so confusing at one point. The first big storyline was done good, but I don't feel like want the next one based on the little I seen from it.

The premise is really interesting and the art is pretty, but the storytelling is pretty stilted and confusing at times and the romance isn't depicted very naturally. This is also the issue I have with I Raised a Black Dragon which is also by the author, so I'm thinking maybe the novels are great but the story quality was lost when they made the webtoon.

I'm only reading for the FL and her full brother. I like her attitude - she wants to only lives for herself and belongs to herself, no one else (mostly). The ML and basically everyone else sucks.
