...meh. The characters are not very well developed. It's true, they change, but they are always just reacting, often in ways that seem bizarre or unrelated to the stimulus for that reaction. So, I can't clearly understand their motivation. Also, the yakuza kid acts like an eight year old, not hot. When the sex scenes finally roll around, I'm just not invested. By the time I finished, I felt this was the second read, but I could honestly remember nothing about the first time. Didn't leave an impression. This review is mostly so I don't accidently read it again in a couple of years feeling like it's uncannily familiar.

It’s such a cute story with two cute characters and a cute way of falling in love. It’s not a romantic cliche at all, as it managed to convey their feelings without ‘I love you’ confessions, we still clearly see how these two have a positive impact on each other, and became attracted to each other.
Also, the smut is so hot!

This manga is a peculiar one to judge, much like the majority of the mangaka's résumé I suppose. The character development here is striking and definitely the most outstanding merit that the story has to offer. Both Master and Mashiro learnt a great deal about life and about themselves from each other and that's a beautiful thing, especially in a story with such a premise.

However as far as the execution goes I think it feels a bit lacking?, compared to its prequels' comedic, light-hearted but equally substantial and heartwarming approach to the subject matter. It didn't make me go aww for the couple overcoming their hardships even though their story more than holds the potential to move its audience. I guess some bits and pieces just feel a tad bit too clumsy and overdone for my liking.

It's a good effort, but maybe some minor modifications would've helped to smoothen the flow and tighten up the pacing of the story more? I don't know, I might just be demanding too much lol, but in the end I think I still prefer sultry Hana and his dorky lover after all.

All hail Tsubaki sensei! I was so excited to see this side story just because of him. I wanna see him be manly and yet gentle. I feel like I loved him more in his one shot with the main couple. He was a tin more mysterious. I also would love for him to be the seme!!!

He is so adorable and cute and yet super strong. I am in love with him lol!

Overall this story is okay although I have no clue when or how feelings developed between them. Masahiro was just an ass and just suddenly started to care about sensei. I dont see what sensei sees in him. Oh well, love is blind I guess!!
