Description

I was actually hesitant to read it too.

BUT--

PLOT TWIST IS REAL.

Lee Yeon as artist and author... wow the potential is through the roof. So far this is another fantastic exploration of (female) friendships, and wonderfully complex and layered (female) characters. Excited to see how this progresses, I love seeing traditional stories get muddied with extra genres and this is masterfully done so far. I didn't like the way the gore was drawn to begin with, but it very quickly grew on me -- I like the stylistic blankness and I think it suits the story very well.

The plot's really interesting and I've enjoyed reading this so far. Refreshing take on the isekai otome game premise, it's a good mystery / thriller. This was tagged romance when I started reading it and now it's gone, so unsure if there will be any but solid story regardless.

Entertaining and addictive

It's another story about being reincarnated in a novel, but this one takes an unexpected turn and keeps you on your toes. It can be unpredictable at times and that's what keeps me interested.

The main character tries very hard to reach her goal and she fails often along the way, but because of that she is very admirable and when times do come where luck is on her side, it feels fair; and not like the author just handed opportunities to the MC for no reason.

Just one thing made me sad and that is

Minwoo's death. I really wanted to see them get together but I can see how that could be going against the sort of ideology the MC portrays in the later episodes (you'll get what I mean once you read it).

But, I highly recommend it!

not a huge fan of 4th wall breaks but the author did it in a unique way that I can appreciate. i feel like there was a shift midway through where the story went from a zombie horror to commentary on the author's purpose in life that i just didn't expect. the set tone in the first few chapters are done really well in setting up the stakes for the rest of the series. things can be confusing sometimes so no chapters can be skipped. I did enjoy the character designs and motivations though. ! the MC being revealed as a self-insert did take away from how convincing the (2nd) villain was as a villain. both the author and the former MC/villain wanting to become "real people" as the main motivation, when it is retconned that the former MC had been replaced from the start and only fell into becoming a villain due to a cosmic evil, took away from the story for me

After finishing the story I am left with the clear feeling of satisfaction that only comes from the best of the best.

Yes, all the other comments are correct. The plot twist is REALzzzzzombie apocalypse. Great characters. The challenge is always evolving. The characters are so dynamic. Everything is unexpected, wild, and fresh.

Amazing Premise, Mid execution

The start is good, really good, great even. But as the stories progresses it becomes a generic zombie story, is it well written? Yes, the characters feel very fleshed out and the dynamics are nice, no one is a one dimensional prick, at least in the main cast and the little identity mystery is engaging.

It’s 5% I woke up in a novel i read, 5% time loop, and 90% zombie apocalypse.

I wanted more of the first two, but if the zombie apocalypse is your jam, go right ahead.
