Lol there admittedly are some pretty weird stuff going on here, but I'd prefer to regard it as the intriguing type of weirdness rather than inappropriate. The stories presented all have their WTF moments for sure, some more than others, but I do think that the manga's ratings are a bit off.
The second story is a bit bizarre, but mostly in character designs rather than the story itself. I guess it's the least weird among the three stories?
The third story on the whole is pretty normal for me, just standard BL stuff, and it would have ended up that way were it not for a certain scene near the end which had me cringe pretty hard. For anyone curious, google 'Gankyū name purei' (眼球なめプレイ) or 'Oculolinctus'. Japan's weird fetishes strike again! lol. But then again, if not for those weird stuff, we might not have had such a rich and diversified Japanese culture like we do today after all, and BL might not even have been a thing O_O
The first story, as I think we readers could all see, actually has quite a dark theme underlying, but with such a bubbly vibe that it gives off, even until now I'm still wondering what the author was trying to convey. I like the premise a lot because after all, not a lot of fairy tales and happy endings have a 'after ever after' story following, and the idea & presentation in the first few pages are almost genius. If only the the mangaka had had more space and time to fully explore the theme to a more substantial depth. I feel that a simple, cheerful one-shot isn't enough to achieve that goal. Hopefully in the future Jaryuu Doruko-sensei could write an even more in-depth manga that could completely satisfy fangirls (or me at least).
Btw, is this manga really yaoi? I know there's a bit of nudity but that's practically nothing for avid yaoi fans, heck there isn't even much action going on lol.
