Description
Pineapple Army is a story about a legendary Japanese ex-mercenary, working as a self-defense instructor. He is sent all around the world for a job by an international self-defense agency, and in each episode, there is a human drama. Along the way, he also saves the world a few times from the hands of terrorists.

Jed Goshi is a Japanese American Vietnam war veteran who teaches civilians in need military tactics they need to get themselves out of trouble. Though the creedo of the Civilian Defense Forces (CDF) is for it's members to act only as instructors, Jed frequently finds himself drawn into the action.
I bought the first 10-chapter Volume released in the States by Vis when it came out back in 1990, and have read it countless times since. I dearly wish I could get more in English.
