Description

huh??? its completed?? thats a weird place to end. I thought it was just the end of the arc but ig its the end of the whole manhwa?

The artwork is pretty for me, the guys are pretty the girls are pretty everyones pretty.

(Everyone's saying that the novel is better so I'll give that a try too)

The pace after chapter 50 becomes too quick. The way the MC and other characters behave is too often bizarre. It is weird to say for a fantasy story, but the story lost its grounding in reality. Everything feels fake, the twists become lazy. Meh.

I personally LOVE the artstyle. They did not forget women are fans of this type of story! At least the faces are amazing, and when they're not wearing clothes. LOL The artist being a woman makes sense since the male fan service is just plain beautiful.

The clothing choices are tragic as fuck though. I'm not impressed by the odd action sequences, how they're chained together and some actions being skipped over. Also, the women are beginning to look exactly the same, just swap color palettes.

I'm sticking with it so far just because I like Raven. Currently on Chapter 65. Will update once season ends.

One of the better reincarnation webtoons

Unlike most of the other generic shounen reincarnation/regression webtoons, this one has a much more mature main character and the overarching narrative is driven more by mystery, intrigue, and unraveling a grand conspiracy rather than more simplistic plot elements.

I won't spoil for you but every chapter you more questions that will pop up in your head and you will be as confused as the protagonist himself which is something I really like in stories

Raven Valde (MC)'s family was framed and he was forced to serve in some camp to fight against demonic forces. There, he met Alan Pendragon who just died and some bad guy informed MC that the two of them died/are going to die because of some plotting. After MC was killed the dragon performed some magic to rewind time. There, MC suddenly found himself in the body of Alan and wants to conduct revenge on the people who killed him and the OG Alan.

There are millions of holes in this story. While it may be addressed in the story later, I believe it should have been addressed right after time got rewound - is his OG body still alive? How would it make sense if time rewound and his soul is in another person's body? Shouldn't that be his first question when he woke up? Why doesn't he know about dragons even though he's part of the nobility/possibly royalty? What on earth is the demonic corps? Who on earth just throws criminals as part of a defense against demons? Now, this idea in itself is plausible, but in this story the criminals are given nothing, not even training nor swords to fight against the demons. Obviously one would then assume that "the criminals are just thrown there to die" which is the case, but yet the criminals are simultaneously the main line of defense against the demons!! How is that even possible when they aren't given any weapons or training and most of them die like fleas? Is there no main regiment against the demons? As if that isn't bad enough, the everyone shits on the OG Alan who is clearly suffering from anxiety, a literal mental health condition. Even worse, the classic engagement breaking trope is so embarrassingly used when the fiancee just blushes after meeting him for a tiny fraction of time and claims that she loves him. Honestly, it would be a way better story if the guy didn't transmigrate and just stayed in his original body and started his revenge.

Please just save your time and not read this story. The art isn't even good and please tell me why 17 year old Alan looks even older than 24 year old Alan before time rewound. Maybe the novel is better, idk but this is definitely not it.
