If it was a Japanese series it'll be titled "I picked up an ego sword who became a loli and nobody knows why"

Thought it would be a "cool" story with a semblance of plot but it ended up being some kind of humiliation kink bait with a permanent conceited, bratty sidekick.
Also, the "comedy" hinges on the reader enjoying or finding the above dynamic as funny. Personally, it wasn't my thing so it just became irritating to read.
I tried 3 chapters and couldn't go further due to :
- lack of logic : protagonist complains not having a sword, yet doesn't bother going to a store to buy one
- lack of logic, take 2: protagonist complains about the loli sidekick being an eyesore sticking to him, yet he doesn't try to get rid of her after the first time. Is he even trying?
- no real long terms plan: no signs of an overarching plot; after the pilot, the protagonist just goes for low hanging fruit fetch quests (nothing much is elaborated)
- to add up to the above, it feels like he doesn't have much of a long term goal? Not sure what is the point of this story?
Generally after 3 chapters, we should be given at least A HINT of goal/overarching plot, such as does the protagonist wants money, or collect some swords, revenge, etc... Nah, none of that is addressed. Right after getting the sidekick, they just do a quest of "finding a cat". Um, ok lol. I don't see this going anywhere.
There are not even any villain/antagonist forces/dilemma introduced. Like bruh we are at chapter 3 and there's like nothing at all😕??
For certain types of series it is acceptable due to the genres, like mystery, psychological, romance, SOL, or progression/diaries (Tensei Slime)... Or pure comedy (KonoSuba).
But this one, the protagonist starts strong already AND there isn't a sense of urgency or goal. AND the "funny banter" is just a one-sided diss by a brat...
Since that was all what this series has to offer by chapter 3, I couldn't hold any hope on this "getting good".
Further ramblings
The title and summary stated and so implied "demonic swords", so I expected shenanigans with that. But so far there's just one sword and it's a pain to get through more than fun. Also, due to the pacing dragging its feet, I've lost interest in seeing how this can get good before the other potential "swords" getting introduced. If it takes "that long" to get to the selling point; maybe it just isn't interesting enough to get by for the most parts of it. It's just torturous having to slog by.
