Did you ever think if there is something worse than rape in the yaoi omegaverse manga?! When you know that in omegaverse raped man can have a baby of his rapist and if marked, never ever get to feel a pleasure from having sex with someone else, even if he love that someone. That's of course if he is an omega, but still...
I can answer you now: YES, THERE IS something worse. And you have it here, in this "Erito ...." manga.
In my whole life, I have read so many mangas that I couldn't even count them. And a lot of them is yaoi manga, and between them a lot is omegaverse. I have taked a liking to omegaverse, because I like the thought of happy M&M family with their own children and I like this destiny theme.
And with this I began to read "Erito..." manga, although I knew that there is a really hard to take love triangle, and that manga is not completly scanlated too.
So I must say that I have read it almost till the end, in spanish, french and japanese scans.
And you know what?!
IT'S SIMPLY AMAZING HOW BAD IS THAT MANGA.
First, it's the story. It's not so bad if you think about it, because... it's lacking. There isn't much of the story, it's mostly sex scenes, and stupid talking about how to win over destiny. What's sad it's that it's just empty words. And here we have the main characters. I'm sorry, but I haven't ever seen the worst cliche persons.
If you could think what is the worst in typical personalites in ABO world, then you have it here.
Alpha
is typical alpha, he's arrogant, selfish to the bone, very intelligent but very stupid in the same time. He's rich, and he thinks that if he is omega's fated pair he can own him, because they will be happy only because they destined, and he can do what he wants to do. But it's reasonable since (of course) he had sad, painful past, linked to his omega mother.
I hated him, truly, I hate that person.
Beta
! is typical beta. He thinks he's average and has no value to the omega, althought he came from rich, famous family and he was to one who protected his beloved senpai omega since high school. He loves him, but he prefers to let him go, because he loves him and want him to be happy. That's sick, because he should have take his senpai omega with him, since he loves him back and just need a trigger. But he let senpai fu** with alpha who doesn't respect him.
And last but not least, omega. I must say that the author did something incredible. She made a first omega that I truly hated. That's some phenomeum.
You know, in other omegaverse mangas you can often read that in this world omegas are said to be people that are made only for sex, and in their heat they cannot really think about anything else. Of course, later they show that it isn't true, but here, in this "Erito..." manga omega shows that it's really true. He loves Beta, but then he met a fated Alpha, so he started have sex with him. But at the same time he says he still loves Beta, he have sex with him, but he don't want him to be hurt, so he choose to marry Alpha. He then still loves Beta, but they don't see each other anymore, so he is still with Alpha. He helps him with his family problems, but when Alpha told him that he wants to mark him Omega claims that he cannot, cause he still loves Beta and he want to stand on his own feets. So Alpha accepts this and they sleeps together in their arms like friends (without sex), but the next morning Omega gets his heat so he want to run, but Alpha stops him. Omega doesn't want it so he tells so, but it just takes a few seconds and he changes his mind, so he have sex with Alpha again, and he probably bites him. And I coulnd't find the latter chapters, and there is three or four left, but this is just like that manga is.
Omega is behaviouring like he has some kind of shizophrenia, or maybe the author has some episode when she draw this manga. I don't know, but you cannot belive in any of this Omega words. He loves Beta, but he's having sex with Alpha, because "it's feels so good and it's destiny, so I must do it with Alpha". So literally, this Omega prove us that there is Omegas that are just like it is said about them.
And this is the first time I feel that
I wish Beta (main character?!) to get someone else, and that stupid Omega to get bitten by Alpha, so he could drawn himself in pleasure for the rest of his life. If sex really means so much... no, means EVERYTHING for him, let it be.
But hell, is it really "that" what the author want to tell us?! That love and sex it's not the same?! That pleasure in sex it's more important than love?! That we may love someone, but we always lose in lust?! That we can forget ourselfs in sex, because it feels so good?!
I want to forget about this manga, and how sick it is. I wish I could turn back time. I'm cursing the time when I thought about reading this manga.
If you don't want to have the same regrets please, don't even look at it.
