Started this story due to curiosity but starting to like Jaehee (yes, i have a lot of conflict thoughts for this story and Jaehee 🙂 ). Like, I know (JH also admits) he's an asshole cheater, but his dumb and his delusion is funny. JH is dumb, funny and kinda pathetic, lol. His beta boyfriend is cute and hope he will kick JH hard like the time he punched JH before. MC deserved all the suffering, no argue 😀

When it is from the perspective of the deceived, it is tragic but when it is the one who deceives, I don't know why I find it funny, the story itself, even though it should make me angry, makes me laugh, it must be that I am more team alpha x omega than beta xd

Like other reviews mentioned, the tone of the plot is too lighthearted for the topic and direction of the story.

The main character sucks. I'm all for morally gray main characters but this guy was a real pos. He cheats on his bf multiple times (instigates it himself each time), makes excuses for cheating, blames the professor, acts remorseful during and right after sex (the first few times), and then goes back to his bf claiming to still love him.

The worst part is how the boyfriend character is depicted. Up until I dropped it, he was a literal cinnamon roll. Everytime he is shown from the mc pov, he has a golden halo around him, and even his backstory tugs at the heartstrings. It makes the actions of the main character all the more infuriating.

Honestly, if the art and tone of the story were more grim, i don't think i would have disliked it as much as I did.

I dropped it at ch 18 and I don't think I'll be finishing it

It's f*ckin annoying how they make the story comedic, light and cheerful, whilst the two main characters are just f*ckin cheaters. Are we supposed to be sympathetic with them or like them?!?! How??
How could the seme still say that he loves his beta BF, when he continues the cheating, and he enjoys it so f*ckin much😕 Even the parts, where he feels (seems to..) guilty, were made to be comedic... It's just disgusting for me.
I definitely won't finish the story, because at this point I can't imagine, it could give me an ending that I would be satisfied with.

Update to my ratings: Unfortunately, as a previous commentor said, the Alpha is making light of everything, & at the time of this review I hadn't seen it enough to know, but now I know, and the constant rationalization, delivered in comedic thoughts doesn't help, & he keeps blaming everything on the Professor. He cheated twice so far (up to ch. 11). The first time the professor was in heat so at least that made sense. He still says he loves YeoWoon but keeps cheating on him. He never told him and I don't know how long this is going to be dragged out. If it wasn't a cheating scheme then the whole thing w the Prof would have been hilarious.

I think what annoys me is the alpha makes light of the situation? I guess the story itself is about Alpha’s Circumstances, like they can’t have a normal relationship because they’re attracted to omegas always. This could have been done better by making the tone more tragic and serious, but I’m getting a happy and mischievous vibes here which makes it annoying.

In essence I find it a bit annoying the direction that the webtoon adaption wants to go with. It seems that it wants to be a lighthearted comedic webtoon BUT if what happens in the novel happens also in the webtoon adaption then...I just don't feel like reading it. Relationship wise some shitty things happens and some people are huge assholes. So to be honest, I wish they had kept the tone of the series more serious. The art is great though and I like the comedic expressions but eh,


Since it's based on a webnovel work by the Author TR, you already can expect that the initial relationship/overall developments of the story is toxic as heck!!!! .

Based on all the spoilers here and there that I saw I don't think I can read this work. I would reccomend the webtoon adption Odd Love which is based on another webnovel of the same webnovel author TR.

I think the only good thing about this webtoon adaption is ofcourse the art! It's really good! And the comedic/lighthearted art moments. BUT Speaking of that: it seems that the author adapting the webnovel is making it..really leaning more comedic/lighthearted? Which is a bit jarring if you know the toxic/shitty actions that some of the main characters do in the original webnovel AND the webtoon....Which makes me wonder if the the author/artist adapting it will make some story changes to match the overall lighthearted/comedic tone that the first few chapter's gave off?? But I don't think so! I cannot give it a rating so I'm just leaving a review.

On another note: you **might** like Pheromone Phobia is what I think based on the whole "Alpha's can't resists the natural nature of being attracted to Omega's" similar plot point. PP is more serious in atmosphere but also has very toxic moments.

So many good bls manhwas without being licensed in English and this thing gets licensed in various languages. Seriously?
