Well some people here need to get a grip because raging because of the open ending just makes them look bad... if you pay any attention you'd see that the mangaka has passed away, she could not finish this, that's the reason why it's all left hanging in the middle!
That said, I enjoyed the prequel and kinda liked this one as well, the art is even better here (even closer to Yamane Ayano - wonder who inspired whom? or if it was coincidence that their art styles look similar?).
The storytelling was a bit .. all over the place, a lot of talk, not enough pictures... it was difficult to follow at times. The way it was translated doesn't help either...
I'm not sure what was going on, who did what, and the characters' intentions or anything... and I also have to say that I find it a bit difficult that the main story like, the whole thing with the student band, then turned models and such, isn't implemented in a clean line, all sorts of stuff happens and you lose sight of the main story line like it doesn't matter anymore.
Natsui is a inconsistent main character, one moment he's sure about his feelings and self confident and the next moment he is a crybaby and wants to give it all up... he goes from wanting Ritsu and not wanting to lose him to being scared shitless from just a little kiss... it gets old over time.
I wish the characters came across a bit more solid, like you can to know them and know just how they'd react or act, but instead they are so random that you keep wondering why exactly they do what they do...
You'd think they actually like one another but then Ritsu goes ahead and tries to prove something to Natsui by getting it on with a callboy - just cause Natsui is scared of having sex... ehh.
It made me chuckle that typical uke has a small one, seme has a big one thing.... Ritsu's thing is the size of my forearm!
If your guy does something like that, you pack your things and get outta there.
I also will never like Nanao and don't think he should have been so easily forgiven and put in as a main character...
Altogether I'd recommend this to fans of the mangaka, to people who read and liked the prequel and fans of the art style.... and the sex scenes are very well done, so if you are really into the better kind of smut then it's worth looking into this book as well!
Anyone else, there's better yaoi out there both story wise and character wise!
