Toshiki is a below average student and often the target of ridicule. After he accidentally runs into a shop sign and breaks it, he enters the shop and finds out it will sell him abilities.. But these abilities don't come cheap.
Oneshot (Complete)

From the description, I imagined that the manga has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectation. The abilities can be obtained too easily, and the protagonist abuse those abilities without any consequence (although I guess he learned his lesson toward the end). I am glad the protagonist is man enough to take responsibility for his action at the end. The atmosphere is a little darker than I though, and the ending feels forced. It doesn't explain why or who pay the protagonist's debt or is it because he learned his lesson that he's free? Overall, the manga could be better, but it turned out just average.
from doraemon. sometimes he can turn crazy too, but on the whole he's a good kid. this kid is basically good, just that he forget 'with great power comes great responsibility'. very nice oneshot, deserve a serial treatment even for only a couple of volume. the ending is a bit letdown cos i know for a shounen it must turn that way.
I was looking through a bunch of new One-Shots and thought they were all too boring/similar. However, this one stood out from all of them. A story where one can buy power at the price of their life, shows a boy who is like any other inept kid, desperate to fit in, only to be help by this witch who can give him the power until eventually he learns a lesson of getting too drunk of fame and power. The artwork is acceptable, not anything new but the story left a great impression on me. The mangaka seems to be new to the business and it shows lots of promise on what he/she can do on his/her first work.
This was darker than pretty much every shounen one-shot I have ever read. Surprisingly so - I had expected something rather average actually. The artist knows how to draw the 'psychotic' expressions to go with some of the more psychotic thoughts. I enjoyed it immensely.
Although the ending was a bit 'happy' and idealistic, so that part wasn't the greatest.
Definitely looking out for future Tashiro Tetsuya works.
