(This comment is copy-pasted off batoto, [it was, of course, my comment! xD] so the first paragraph is kind of a response to people who were bashing the herione, but still useful to help you get a feel for the manga.)
I actually liked the heroine. She was tough and even when her fighting skills were put to the test, unlike most supposedly strong shoujo heriones, she didn't run away or get overpowered because "men are so strong/scary/both!!"; nor did she go the way of "physically strong, therefore emotionally weak"; like the shoujo heriones who actually can kick butt normally do. She was reasonably believable, I thought. (Except for that whole "something's wrong with me! My heart beats so fast when I'm around him... What is this feeling...? Maybe I'm getting sick?" cliche, but it didn't have too much presence in the story, so hey.)
That being said, I saw the lack of any real romantic progression a mile away and yet it still managed to disappoint me.
Just; any future readers be warned: The most you get out of this couple is
a hug. Not even a confession or anything of the sort. Just a hug.
(Not that big of a spoiler, you won't lose much by reading it.)
I gotta admit, it doesn't have much of a plot, so don't read it if you want something good plotwise. This is more of a time-killer. Recommended to those who want a nice dose of bishies, fanservice and fluff. ^^
