Nothing really memorable about it.
Characters lack depth, story is pretty pointless, the art isn't special...
At least it's a short and easy read.

I hate to generalize but…

one of the reasons I don’t read a lot of manhua is because time and time again, the story turns out choppy and rushed. Maybe it’s a translation issue (even though I read the official English translation), but a lot of storylines felt rushed or felt like there were missing chapters. For example,
Also, there were elements that were completely unnecessary
Overall, it was a cute story. Relatively quick read too. I liked a lot of the metaphors the author used throughout the story. Would I read it again? Maybe to double-check whether I missed some elements of the story or not but that’s it.

Pei Qui and Han Dong’s relationship. In the beginning, you’re led to believe Pei Qui is unhappy and tries to cheat on Han Dong whenever he gets the chance (never does though, it’s just to get attention) and that Han Dong is also cheating since Jiao Yang sees someone else in Han Dong’s car with him. Then a few chapters later, they’re all lovey-dovey after spending a night together. Like ok? How did they go from unhappy to bliss without any development in between that the reader is aware of?

like suddenly learning that the super popular actor (forgot his name already) has always been in love with Yuanxiao and was trying to intimidate Jiao Yang to break it off. That lasted for half a chapter. That’s it. Was it necessary to the plot? No. Did it add anything to the story? No. And then the dog on set was random. But can you really call it a manhua if there isn’t either a super cute animal or kid somewhere in the story?
