I don't even know, where to begin. The characters were so shallow and boring, I couldn't care less about both of them. They both had the personality of a piece of cardboard. I don't even know, what was it about Obata's 2 sides, 'cause he was so bland, there wasn't even any difference between his day and night personalities. Was it that he was a bit pushy during sex? Or what? Not to mention that the guys had zero chemistry together, and I just couldn't feel any emotions between them, let alone love. Which is not surprising, knowing the fact, that there wasn't almost any info about how they got together, how they fell in love, what they supposedly liked in each other. On one page they were doing overtime, as 2 total strangers, and poof, 2 pages later, they were already dating. Without any introduction or explanation.
The story was messy, rashly told, and almost nonexistent, and even the main conflict was so irrelevant, that honestly I couldn't wait to finish it. The pacing, the paneling, everything was so sloppily made, it was sometimes hard to follow, what's happening. And I don't know if it's just the english translation's fault, or the original dialogues were also as confusing, but most of the time, I couldn't even decide which line was told by whom, and what was going on.
Even the art is subpar and bland. The only facial expressions were Niinuma's permablushes and baby-tears on every occasions, and that one time Ogata laughed, no other feelings were shown on their faces in the entire manga.
Overall it's so bad, I highly recommend skipping it entirely, don't waste your time on this one, unless you're desperate to read some yaoi, and don't have anything else.
