Description

Stuck in a game with a lousy hero? Me too!
Minjoon, a normal office worker, wakes up inside the game he was reviewing for his friend. It's not his fault the trailer was so boring it put him to sleep! Bewildered, Minjoon is tasked with summoning a hero to guide. The hero certainly looks strong, but he seems to be less useful than expected.

Great start rushed ending

Love the premise and I loved the twist. But the last few chapters were filled with exposition and explanations so it was really really difficult to follow.

I THINK I have an idea, but the ending feels a bit disappointing probably because of the rush.

Although the seed and God stuff and creating a new world were all very confusing, I think I managed to hold on and follow along...like I'm holding onto a very thin string that's about to snap. All THAT aside, I think the ending was still very disappointing. It's hinted that Shane becomes the new god, but it leaves the ending not very...ended? Especially...

...if you're here for the BL romance, it's nearly nonexistent. It's a fantasy action Shonen battle manhwa with BL undertones at best. Such a shame on that front.

Great start, slightly confusing ending

The starting of the story was intriguing and there were a few moments which was pretty thought provoking, plus though the mc wasn't strong conventionally, I liked how he had his own strengths and his own morals but towards the end, it felt like there was a lot of stuff like concepts and theories being thrown in, and the role of the mc kind of diminished?

Like he still had a role to play in the fights, but there was so much shifting of scenes between the fights that it was pretty hard to determine what the characters actually needed to do and how they contribute to the scenarios unlike in the first part of the series. The same could be said about the reveal about the truth of their world and any relevation on what needs to be done.

To be frank I'm partially at fault for not fully understanding the story's ending since I was swapping between the fan translations in different languages (English, Malay to English via google translation, and finally Chinese) since the English translation wasn't complete for the manga unfortunately.

But honestly I think a big part of the reason why I felt like I didn't quite comprehend what the end of the story was trying to do was also because it was too rushed. I think it needed another season at least to pace the story correctly, because at the end, it felt like they were just moving to where the monsters were, and the origin of the monsters didn't feel explained at all?

If I could find the novel translations, I would probably give it a go just to see if it is any better, though that's if I can find it in the first place.

Just one suggestion, you either just read the manhwa or just read the novel. Don't read both, you will ended up with immense disappointment like me cuz they rushed the ending in the manhwa (means a lot of the story in the novel were cut and didn't make it in the manhwa). So yeah, it's good but very rushed towards the ending.
