Honestly I'm having a hard time deciding on a rating for this one.
For one thing, the romance is odd.
The characters seem to suffer from multiple personalities. It's almost as if the author forgot things as they were writing it.
The ML seems to start things off as though he found another toy to play with, as though he is a play boy who goes from one guy to the next teasing them and then throwing them away.
Yet he then immediately switches to "MC is the only person in this world for me, it's fate, we're meant for each other, I'll never let him go" etc. Two completely different stances.
MC suffers from the same thing.
He starts off as self isolating, doesn't want anything to do with anyone because he's been hurt, because of his powers. But when he finds out ML also has powers, he doesn't even care about what he has to say. He immediately rejects him for "lying about it" (which he didn't, he simply omitted it just like MC has). Even when ML directly states the world is against him (the same as MC) MC does exactly what he hated everyone for doing to him and rejects him for it.
There was also a lot of backstory set up that never really went anywhere. And certain facts that get changed. Literally one chapter has ML saying he has all the money in the world, and the next he's saying MC is supporting both of them and he needs to get a job. What? Why? Where'd ALL your money go? You were never being supported by your family to begin with, you said at the beginning of the series if you want a company you'll just start your own, all this implies you have SIGNIFICANT funds and then suddenly you're broke and living off MC?
And the end just has them as if they're normal people.
No powers being used. Or explained even. What happened to MLs side effects? Did they stop now that he's happy? Did he tell MC about them? Why didn't he get a more appropriate job using his skills of his powers instead of a low level entry job using a skill he doesn't even have?
Raaaarg none of it makes sense. And I WANT to like it. The drawings are nice, I liked the characters for the most part, I wanted them to get together even when shit was going down.
But still. Major facts and personalities get changed or dropped with no explanation whatsoever. I'm thinking of more examples as I type and it gets me more and more mad.
Sigh. I don't know. I do recommend reading this but I also think you'll be just as mad or confused as I am. Does that make it a 5? Haha
