Argh, again! Again a yaoi with a boring, bland, woobie uke who gets beaten by all corners of life. And is lusted after by two alphas (beats my why, he's not even an interesting char IMHO). Juheon (uke) was the biggest letdown here, and dragged the story a notch down. He has no real personality, he's just there to take the kicks from everybody and end up a poor single dad that will elicit sympathy from readers. BORING! Why not make a morally dubious uke who's just as flawed by the seme? But no, most BLs never go down this route, and as a results, uke becomes a predictable stock character. I'll forget him 30 minutes after finishing reading the manhwa.
The seme is a more intriguing char, very flawed and with a domineering personality, and the other alpha was also interesting at points. But the central misunderstanding was a terrible, terrible one. Paper thin and so unconvincing. And the cliche single dad story was so irksome! Uke was made into a saint, which I find a very lazy story plot device. The art was IMHO low tier, but passable. Seme's redemption arc was okay but a bit formulaic. I was frankly surprised at how comments for these chapters except seme to fix all of his character flaws and become a perfect man for the uke. WTF? Nobody, literary nobody, in real life, can becomes such a perfect person, especially not at 26! You'll still have character flaws that you will continue working on, until the last breath. So I was somehow miffed by the people who read these kind of things. If you want green flags, don't read manhwa where you know the seme ditches the uke over a misunderstanding. Select something fluffy and enjoy it, don't waste your time on this! But this is a general BL problem, people who dislike red flags and want to pulverize them again and again read red flag BL. Who's crazy here? But back to the manhwa at hand, I don't rec it to anyone, but it's not bottom of the barrel.
