Description

I'm a huge fan of Beriko and really enjoyed this series as well! The art was beautiful as always and while the story was a bit lacking and seemed a bit rushed it was still endearing and adorable!

I personally enjoy stories with older uke and this was right up my alley. I would recommend for fans to also check out the BLCD if they can.

If I have one comment to say relating to this work (this includes her other work) is that I noticed a number of people complaining about the dynamic of the pairing.

First, Beriko has a particular M.O. when it comes to her pairing so for people who are familiar you should be ready to expect that she often deviates from the standard uke-seme dynamic.

Second, to the people complaining about who is the uke, disappointed or wishing it was the other way around I ask why? There are actually thousands of other BL series that follow the standard pairing which you can enjoy. There is no need be saying "if only x was uke I'll like it/I really wish Y was seme" or "Why can't Beriko make a normal pairing for once". What is normal?

It's not always "feminine/younger =uke or masculine/older=seme. That's a very ridged way of looking at relationships. Also it allows a bit of freedom and break from the stereotypical pairing dynamic and to be honest a welcomed one. I personally love Beriko for doing this and hope she continues in this path with her future work.

This author is starting to climb her way up my Overrated lists, judging by the ratings and comments on this website. I can virtually see my enjoyment of her works slowly but surely diminishing over time after all the dazzle and sparkles have worn off and her weaknesses in various areas get revealed.

This manga in particular is very pretty, which is the norm for the mangaka now, but the story is such a mess in terms of construction and pacing that I couldn't get into it at all. It's poorly constructed, hastily executed, and awkwardly shoehorned in certain plot points, so every bits of potential in the setting and characters at the beginning feels wasted by the end of the manga.

But hey, this was the mangaka's first serialised title in her career after all - I guess I could cut her some slack for the amateur and unpolished vibe that her work gives off. And the fan-translation for it is very jarring at times, which probably failed to deliver any dialogue nuances and sophistication intended in the original work.

Best in a long time

I almost always skip the sex scenes bc I find them awkward and generally unsexy but this was stunning, the emotional depth it conveyed was crazy. The art is the best I've seen in ages and while the story was short it didn't feel it! This was everything I want in a romance manga. And it stars two full grown men! one of them even has the cutest eye wrinkles!

omg i really loved the art!! the charas were charming, lovable, handsome and sooo cute!!~ i fell in love with them!!~ even if oyaji romance often feels weird, here it was right, and Tetsuya being the uke was right too~ a tsundere seme was nice~ damn this was a good manga~ i wouldnt mind more of it 😉

I have to say that I REALLY liked this. Loved the feeling, loved the story (even though there was some plot-holes and more explanations that needed to be done), and I loved the characters. My favorite was probably the uke, because the author gave him a very mature, down to earth, nature.

I also enjoyed the art, it's not something out of the ordinary but it's perfect for the story the author wanted to portray. Story-wise, I really enjoyed that it was revolved around a tailor. Not something common in a yaoi.

This Manga is so cute and Sweet and has this really heartwarming feeling to it.
Also the couple is just simply adorable.

I also like the interior design of the house of the Tailor.
Having plants inside the house and also antique furniture certainly added charm points for me.
The Uke and Seme both are stylish and handsome in their own way.

I definitely like the art style of this manga.
I love all the details especially the backgrounds.
Its so beautiful and exquisite if i might say.....

Definitely a must read.
Just read it, in order to find out..
