Chapter 1:
Seems like I skipped another prequel before starting this. Story of my life.
Chapter 2:
Lmao, the kids using reverse psychology to make him play with them.
Chapter 3:
Tatsuyuki looks like his old man, but he definitely isn't like him romantically. He's too cute.
Nozomi is cute, pitiful, yet forceful on his love but also pleading for Tatsuyuki's love. He really doesn't know what to do to get Tatsuyuki to like him.
Chapter 4:
Pedophilia warning. I'm so sorry for poor Nozomi, having a kid go through that... I just can't. There are some really sick people out there. Out of fiction's boundaries and that's sickening.
We all know Uichi is crazy but no matter how much he misses Akitora, he wouldn't have sex or force himself on his son. I hope he doesn't do it. But he's been that kind of playful in Jealousy too so I'm kind of used to it.
Seems like Nozomi didn't actually go for a swim, and that he went to die. Hope I'm wrong.
Chapter 5:
Nozomi's eyes when he said his name instead of Minori and how he cried because he finally got his wish; Tatsuyuki was finally looking at him and wanting him.
Chapter 6:
Um... I don't like Uisui here. He was always crazy, but using Akitora's son as a substitute and having sex with him. Just no.
Also Uisui here said he hated Tatsuyuki's eyes because he got them from his mother, for those who have read Jealousy, we know its because she was an alpha woman, confident and cool and she accepted him but she was Akitora's wife. That's the part he hated because he couldn't be Akitora's number one.
I legit cried because Nozomi was pitiful, Tatsuyuki was being used/blackmailed and couldn't refuse for his lover;s sake to keep him protected, and Uisui turnt cruel.
Chapter 7:
So the reason Nozomi went to the sea was to get some strength to keep on living like Tatsuyuki had told him when they were kids. Totally misinterpreted that in earlier chapters.
Nozomi saved him but what's even more strange is what exactly Reika knows (I mean how far... Does she know of the sex?) and that Uisui was calculating and even seemed waiting for it to happen.
No matter how much Uisui wanted to see Akitora these sexual acts with his love interest's son aren't justified. Not in the least.
Chapter 8:
So glad no one is dead and the two of them get to be together. Tatsuyuki has also forgiven Uisui that's why he hopes he's gonna meet his old man, even though Nozomi will never forgive him. Uisui hoped Akitora would go see him after this but even then he didn't.
All in all, after reading Jealousy I expected a lot more from this. It seemed fast-paced and that threw me off a bit. Tatsuyuki's character had more room for potential and room for development which wasn't achieved in this work. That's why my rating is gonna be 7.5/10.
