The MC is in an unrequited love with his best friend but acts like a prick to said best friend. The MC doesn't even treat him as a friend because he bottles up everything to himself and REFUSES to even communicate. It's fine if he doesn't wanna confess and ruin their relationship, but he doesn't even bother to talk to his best friend about daily mundane stuff. And then when his best friend tries to communicate he closes himself off and has the audacity to get mad at his friend. Uh, what? And he even hits his friend. I seriously cannot bring myself to like this protagonist. Maybe I'm too old for this sort of classic trope. I cannot stand it when characters don't even have a semblance of maturity. Anyway, it ended on a really sweet note because of the best friend (can't believe I'm saying this because I usually am biased to the protagonist) so I guess it's worth a read.
