Description

What a nice reaaaaaaaad! It's really enjoyable and it reflects the reality somehow and I've gotta say, although sometimes I dislike Chiwa, but she's a nice character. She showed her strong personality and yet sometimes, she'll become weak again which is actually reflecting how we are actually are in real life. Sometimes, we feel as if we're really strong but sometimes, we've had enough and becomes vulnerable and had to depend on others. It's a nice personality. At least the mangaka didn't portrayed her as a strong or weak character all the way. That applies to Hokuto too!

Even men can become weak at times too. And I liked the plot and the twist! It's true that it's a pretty common romance story with the ups and downs like you've seen and read through other manga but at least in this one, there's a unique feeling in it. Not sure what, but it's definitely special. Maybe because of how the characters go along with the flow of the story. Anyway, it's a really nice read. All the conflicts were clearly explained and the ending wasn't rushed. It's good! :>

I'm not giving full mark, not because of some lack from the author but because the protagonists are soooo traditional : a good but annoying bride doing everything she can for her important husband. Ughh I hate that... I prefer people breaking habits 🙂 .

That's because I recommend it. I more than enjoyed it XD Kind of re-read it, and I now finished it! Hokuto is definitely one of my all-time favorite shouju male lead. I LOVE LOVE the art, and of course Hokuto. It's a worth read story, good smut scenes and all. Made me laugh quite a bit too. Just read it, even if the ending is kind of predictable, it's still funny. I want more of them! But I'll be watching for this mangaka, which is weird for me, that's how much I loved it, from cliché scene to every not so cliché part. If you love shouju, this is the one for you!

PD. I didn't remember the scene some comments are saying until I read it. Maybe because from one chapter to another it took quite some time. But you'll forget it! And love Hokuto at the end, it's just fiction, let it go for the sake of the rest of the story.

Yay! Finally completed it. It was a really great read. I loved the romance between Hokuto and Chiwa. I wanted to see their baby though! But anyways, I'm glad I picked this manga up. One of my favourites.

So he slapped her, for being dumb........ I get a slap to the ass when Im dumb, but thats just the way my Husband is. When hes dumb I smack him to.... Its not abuse, its discipline. Anyway its a great manga I really wish Viz would get a hold of it.

Okay, sure you guys say that its not a good manga just because husband slapped wife but hey, I'm a girl too, and look at it this way --its always been wife slapping husband, isn't that considered violence too?

And Hokuto slapped chiwa to wake her up, not like "u bitch, how dare u say stuff about me like that and blah blah blah" he slapped her meaning "don't u have faith in your hubby? Where did all those ideas cone from? I'm slapong u cuz u needa wake up! " Sure I was shocked at hokuto slapping chiwa, but he didn't mean ill. And its not like he abuses her. And didn't Chiwa slap Hokuto many times before?

It turned out to actually be pretty good.

I mean everyone said that

Hokuto slapped Chiwa a few times, but he pretty much apologized immediantly. I'm not trying to justify his actions or anything, but I think the author wanted Hokuto to be aghast at what he had just done.

I used to like this manga, but I stopped reading this manga

since Hokuto slaped Chiwa. I mean, this a shoujo manga! what's the point? make girls understand that if they are being annoying you husband can slap you? that's just wrong, really. And If it wasn't like she was doing something so terrible, like you'd say "well, she was a bitch and that slap was rightful" nah, it was something along the lines :"get yourself woman", and maybe I'm overreacting, but I can't really support a manga where a poor young wife gets slaped for such thing, while she isn't anything but supporting of her husband, where it's suppoused to be about love, being together, and other random shoujo manga thing.
One thing is the whole 'I don't want to have sex-but-I want in the end'/Dub-Con in some shoujo mangas, and other thing is Domestic Violence.

i lovee this josei manga i love the story line and its not like thoose usual josei married life that goes like 'hate =>love =>manga finished' no, the manga shows much more and what a woman faces in her own story i looove it and i loooove hakuto i'd love to grab him for a hubby 😀 xx
