On chapter 95. Start is great. The highlights are the MC/ML relationship and how they find a family together. The fluff is cute and the story would've been rated higher if it kept to the fluff and political/mythical mystery plotline, but...
Unfortunately, the story suffers by bringing in unnecessary and long-standing romance obstacle subplots, which are especially annoying as they serve little purpose and distract from an already a decent mystery and political plot continuing at play.
The so-called love rivals become even less welcomed because they come in AFTER the main couple is long past set and established, which only make the story seem to be dragged out longer than it needs to be. And tbh, bc a lot of these obstacles are just ridiculous story-telling that don't really do anything to explore or advance the main couple's romance (or any other plot), and because the main couple barely have any unresolvable issues yet their relationship development is so slow, the romance has been getting kind of boring in the later chapters.

I think the romance rival fatigue was most noticable when the author made the crown prince fall in love with the MC, which was after her engagement with the ML. And the last straw for me with it was how ppl were actually ENCOURAGING his crush for no reason. It wasn't like the engagement was a secret or that the main couple had a rocky relationship (they're both very open abt how much they love each other).
And the author was already seriously pushing it with almost making the werwolf child/past-life dog (Shitori) "fall in love" with the MC. Thankfully, the more recent chapters I've read is supporting Shitori being happy with the main couple as pseudo-parents instead.
The most recent, with the enemy 2nd prince, was just dumb idky it was even used. The mystery mom from an enemy nation element, that was introduced with it, was already interesting enough without interspacing a really cringe and rather uncomfortable to read "love triangle" (bc the guy was such a creep). The only positive was that this plot was on the shorter side.

Pretty colorful art. New, creative storyline but too much “recap” as it goes on and I feel like there’s not enough character interaction from MC and love interest. I dropped it for now at ep ~30 but might come back and read this later.
