Two Souls (Gwendolyn)

Description

On Suyoung is working as an officer of the Royal Pharmacy, and when he finds out about the emperor's plan to behead the king for the treason charges, he feels sympathetic and gives anesthetic potion to the king to lessen the pain. And during the execution, the king thanks Suyoung and curses the emperor as he dies. The next day, Suyoung wakes up in a strange place and realizes that he is living in the emperor's body! Shivering with fear, Suyoung hurries to the Royal Pharmacy and finds the emperor in his body. And from that point and on, a spectacular drama takes over the palace.

Great Story

This was such a good story…not a full 10 only because there were some details I would have preferred but were not addressed (see review from Terwa I also agree with them)

Not sure why but the side stories never got an official English translation so even though I finished reading the main story a few years ago I just now got a chance to read the unofficial English translation of the side stories.

It was good, the funny thing I read it while thinking its a manhua
Anyhow ,it was good ending didn't drag the story with unnecessary events or blahblah talk ,and the characters art not confusing as most of the manhwa they sometimes u cant recognize whom from who

But there was some events never explained, like why he was very cruel with killing his traitor brother ,he could just execute him normally without have him struggling while dying he dosen't done something equals to have this cruel ending
And the scene the uke went through before first switching, was it a dream? Cause it didn't match reality, when the emperor knew later he didn't got so furious over the uke and treated him normally (it was right after first time switching before knowing or loved the uke) and it was never mentioned again
And in the ending scheme why the emperor didn't tell his royal guard about his plan when he was in the oh wol body? So he can help or give notice to the other party to move fast to second stage
And the way they turn upside down the emperor character was so unrelated, the uke was scared of the emperor eyes and ruthless face when he looked at him during the king execution ,and got a trauma of it the next day too ,then when he switched with him he say "he have angel face" putting the execution moment ,just what?! Do u have amnesia or split personality?
And how can a hard hearted ruthless cruel emperor, be gentle, merciful and patient in the other hand ,specially if we return to the uke beheaded scene
He was gentle and subdued fast to the uke character, didn't match his strong character
And I would preferred if he stayed as emperor and honor lady ,it would have been more cute and charming as how the story was going on

Fun to Read

The romance is fluffy and cute, the characters are great and is really fast to read. Only thing that i dind't like was that in the end things got too suddenly and messed up,

like in one chapter everything was fine and fluffly but in the next one it had loads of secret plans and scammers. But even so is not that the end was unreasonable the situation was solved in a satisfactory way

This is set in ancient era. Story is quite dramatic.. apparently the emperor had a big D, it's a shame we don't get to see it cause it's not yaoi.
