This mangaka has a very idiosyncratic sense of humor. I believe the reason why the ratings are so diverse is because the story line is rather unusual and slow, and because the sense of humor is very strange. I do like it... However, it is a little shocking to the reader. The pacing is also too slow sometimes. That being said, I am curious to see how the story progresses. Also, I would like to see how this writer develops. The writer seems to be young, but there is a genius behind their writing and I am eager to see how they develop in later works.
