Who do you think lives next door? A college student? A secretary? A foodie? A quiet sort? Or a killer?
8 Volumes (Complete)

I agree with one of the reviews below that it's a dark comedy. I think many thought this would approach the angst you type of psychological mangas that's why they were disappointed when they read this (seeing the average ratings) for me this is actually pretty good and here are a lot of times I've laughed lmao. This manga is an entire mess and if you don't like that this one is not for you. Besides the silliness of this manga, I think the message was pretty strong and clear. I do recommend this ^^
Right now (currently at 104), it feels way to dragged out and should've ended like 20 chapters ago. MC is an f idiot who just screams, or just stands there doing nothing. The comedy is so dry that you got to laugh at it but most of the time I didn't even notice it, I didn't even realize the comedy genre tag until I got here. It just feels like it was too dragged out.
It's all over the place. You don't understand any character and you don't know how things are working (because they obviously shouldn't). Serious part feels pretty dumb and comedy parts are reeeeeeallly weak.
MC is pretty f terrible, as a guy I felt my balls shrinking every chapter looking at this beyond pathetic wuss.Lastly random coincidence is so over the top you don't even know if its serious or comedy part.
Read only if: you like gags and little bit of gore (best parts are censored), and you can have a boner for sadistic girl who looks cute.
Well, the story is kinda shallow, drawing is interesting, the girl has an intersting personality and the guy is a total loser that REALLY gets on my nerve, he has no balls, no free will, no active voice, he's just useless and irritating.
Story is rather entertaining. Art style somehow reminds Tsumi to Batsu. Liked the full circle ending. Would love to see a sequel.
On a bad side chapters are rather short. Most of the time ends with a cliffhanger.
Definitely recommending.
I thought the first 3 or 4 chapters were great, but after that is just becomes silly. Also, the protagonist is probably one of the biggest losers/coward yet. He's basically just like a puppet who allows himself to be led around into any situation and never does anything on his own at all. I quit reading after about chapter 30 or so. Basically this manga is a slapstick comedy about killing people and it becomes a little stale and boring after a while. One of the comments here says it's nice how they need each other, but that's not really the case. She just uses him as entertainment and also to carry out some of her plans. He doesn't have the guts to try to stop her because it's the first time a pretty girl has ever talked to him.
If you are into psychological or atmosphere comics, this is your manga. Without spoiling anything beyond Chapter 1, I will only mention two words: assassin, suicidal. If these words sparked your interest, you are in for a very fine treat.
Pros/Cons
He wants to die. She seeks to kill. This is a story of a suicidal college dropout, Kurosu, who finds his reason to live in his next door neighbor after a totally intentional and long-lasting peeping habit. It is then that he finds out his neighbor, Miyaichi, a graduate student and a total lady killer, is an actual serial killer who he sees murder multiple men in a span of his 6 months of watching her. Somehow, they find each other and the story begins. They cling to each other to find some sense of normalcy and acceptance. It's beautiful how much the two need each other. She cooks meals. They go on dates. He enjoys her company. She murders some guys. They have sexy time. It's awfully nice. The horror-mystery-suspense elements never leaves the table as murder is always there in the front of Miyaichi's mind and in the back of Kurosu's. The story is nonsensical and funny as well. My only hang-up is they don't explain shit a lot. It's like Shondaland and Dexter with way less logic guiding the plot, but that's the fun part. It's always nice to read something that makes me turn my head every few chapters with a "wait... what?" Fun times all around.
The characters are what made it for me. It's fun to see their mindset. The guy. He develops a serious neurotic fixation with the woman, yet he is still scared of her and what she does. Needless to say, he looks perennially constipated. But it's cool because I like pathetic, miserable guys. The girl. Her philosophy on why she kills is interesting.
It is a part of her in a very Dexter way. I like how she doesn't change into a conventional girlfriend when she finds that special someone. She is an unflinching murderer before she met Kurosu and from where I'm reading, she still is now. She gets off on the strangest things. The manga focuses on their relationship and a nice array of abnormal women.
It is Anne Freaks without terrorists.
This reminds me of Arakawa Under The Bridge - it's so random?!
If you don't like predictable plots, this might be the story for you.
Personally, I'd prefer serious stories :/
