Idk why ppl worry so much about age gap. They become couple after being 7 years apart, and ml is 20 by that time. Not to mention there are many real life couples where husband behaves like another child of the wife. Female lead was brought up as male heir would be. So the roles are pretty much reversed in comparison to other mangas. Female lead is cold, dutiful, dependable and does dirty jobs for ml in very sexist society. And ml behaves a bit childish (everyone is usually ok if fl is this way).
I think this manhua is for more mature audience.

I like the female lead so far, but the fact that the author is trying an age gap relationship just makes it feel gross to continue tbh. In ch.7 it's noted that the ML is 11 and that the FL became knight commander at 20. I can't remember if there were other mentions of her age or how long she's been the commander in other chapters.
Excluding that, the story is meh overall.

Honestly read it if you feel like it, I don't think its anything amazing but its not terrible either ignore the cry babies that constantly apply our real world standards to fiction and fantasy.

I'm not into age gaps. The knight almost feels mid 20s and the prince looks like he's 12
