I've been using this website for over 10 years and have never bothered to make an account, but I need to give my opinion of this novel.
Besides one glaring flaw, this is an amazing read.
Character development is fluid and feels believable.
Supporting characters who don't immediately befriend the MC, who in other stories would feel insulted or jealous and turn into enemies only to see the error of their ways later in the story after losing a fight, instead have more than one brain cell and either grow up or let it go.
The only real enemies are REAL enemies, not comic relief or plot devices. They have things they want and the MC is getting in their way. They aren't really evil, just on opposing sides.
Back to why I made this comment, the one thing I really think drags this story down is the harem factor. I get that the Japanese are obsessed with almost every underage girl flirting with adults and harems where every pretty girl the MC meets falls in love with him or is at least attracted enough to want to get into his pants, but I was really hoping that wouldn't happen in this novel.
Especially him actually getting away with marrying every female childhood friend he ever had...
Unfortunately it did, so I can only give it a 9/10.
The above turned what could have been a near masterpiece into a just a really good novel.
