Old fashioned

The writing itself is juvenile in a way that its very straightforward in its theme and execution, which is quite an old fashioned way of writing scifi. I would have rate this a 6 or 7 but reading through the postscripts I could see this several of the more 'juvenile' stories really did get written when the author was in school thus it is actually quite admirable. And being old fashioned when it actually IS written so long ago should not be a detriment but its akin to giving us readers the perspective of the yesteryears. I really like the art when the author deign to draw them in a more realistic manner.
