Description

Art: Annoyingly huge head in comparison to face size (sometimes even half of height is hair and half is face, and it's not bangs...)

Repetitive and Meandering

Favorite Aspect: I liked the female lead, at first. The art is cute, I guess.

This story starts strong with a female lead that has a lot of traits I personally quite like: Not afraid to throw a punch and has the power to back it up, rebellious, likes to drink... What a woman! And she doesn't sacrifice or disdain her femininity? Pretty neat! Unfortunately, her devil may care attitude drags the story and the male lead around too long and frequently and the story suffers for it. After almost 50 chapters the same plot beats have been rehashed at least a half dozen times.

I generally dislike age gaps that are made ok after a time skip- This one was not so bad in concept. Arial was adamant about refusing Siegfried when he was immature, and it makes sense that he would grow a lot in wartime! Unfortunately, none of that mental growth is shown and he's basically the exact same character as he was before the time skip. He literally gets all of his "mental growth" before the time skip.

The other drawing point is an actual spoiler, so I'll put it below:

The plot has been hinting that this not actually a transmigration/reincarnation story, but a regression or time reset story! I really like how the story has dropped hints towards this, and was looking forward to a payoff. However, it's just beating around the bush and taking too long.

After looking up and finding out this was written by the same author as A Tender Heart... Eugh, the author has a type and I don't think I resonate with it.

You Might Also Like: There are SO MANY better transmigration stories with FL's who kick ass, go try literally anything else.

TW: Swearing and extreme hatred for the FL, Ariel.

I canNOT stand her. She's just... just...argh!!!!! She's so annoying and have zero common sense. She does the dumbest, most reactionary things possible and makes the problems worse. Zero critical thinking skills are REALLY spotlighted after the time skip too.

At this point Siegfried is faaaaaar too good for her. He deserves someone who communicates with him the way he demands. He says the actual word, too! "No misunderstandings!" What a man!

Ariel, the stupid bitch, STILL tried to leave withOUT talking AGAIN, even right out refusing to say a word until Siegfried literally used his body to block her escape, forcing her to speak. FINALLY. Dropped Ch.45.

If I were to rate this, it wouldn't be necessary very good like a 6 or a 7 but I wouldn't say its that bad either, the chemistry between the leads is kinda cute. The art isn't that bad either. However

the 5 year age gap is kinda bothering me though I have to read on to see how this progresses. Since the
recent chapter already makes it so obvious that the Crown Prince is in fact the male lead of the story

Tbh this has potential, the art is great as well as the character designs just the most important of all which is plot and character personality is down the drain. The female lead is a bird brain, the extras have more better disposition in the story than her. There's also a lot of loophole with events you feel like, "did I just missed a chapter" kind of vibe. It is a no for me. I was looking for something of the calibre of "Who made me a princess".
