It isn't like the best isekai ever. But it does something different from the boatloads of isekai manga I've read. It's obvious who hasn't read till the end. But it's usually better to rate manga once you've finished reading unless it's very unbearable.

I found it cool that it turns out the it's not quite that Songha woke up in Yulia's body but that Yulia ended up living in another world and a whole nother life as Songha without realizing till way later that she's Yulia. I wish this was explored more. But basically, the main character decided to embrace them both as herself. I like how she embraces that uncertainty. While things could be explained and have flowed better. It makes sense she's so OP and she can easily use Yulia's body since it's her. It's due to the villain's time regression powers that even the male leads and Yulia keep getting so OP'd. I like that she decided to promote more of a democratic system instead of a monarchy.

Also, I like that Yulia is herself and it's focused on how to right the wrongs from when

her body was taken over for two years.
Also, I like how finally, I am not stuck with monogamy and an overtly hyperfocused plot of romance. It shows her happy with the three of them. That's cool. I think it's called polyfidelity. She gets to be happy and retire.

harem or not?

FL has clearly stated that she has no intention of picking any one of them but wants to keep them all by her side. Still no matter where you look tags insist its not a harem/reverse harem. If I knee I was going to be like this I wouldn't have read it cause I like a solid ending and hate the harem/reverse harem genre. So as a reader you should definitely take into account that it's pretty much a harem despite lacking the label 🙄

Female emperor is cool

Don't know why some people don't like this manwha, the MC isn't using her OP power to rule her land, but making amends to get her supporters back to her side and fix the corruption within using her brain and close allies.
The art and the story atm is good. I'm enjoying it and looking forward to future chapters.

People being very judgmental towards the term "Emperor" used on a woman. Did ya'll know their were actual female Emperors that did exist in history? (Ex: Wu Zetian, Emperor Suiko - etc). So I see nothing wrong with that. A lot of these terms on "Emperor", "Empress", "female", "male" were created from men who built it on "patriarchal" societies. So I don't find it wrong changing the meaning of the term so it fits a more universal group. Anyways, onto the story. I'm still reading the manhwa and I have mixed feelings on it. I like the female lead and the story seems interesting. It's similar to other villainess stories, but with a female lead who's not really dependent on a male lead. First half of the story, she's mostly doing her own thing and trying to re-organized her Empire before it falls down into the hands of rebels and enemies. The manhwa has potential to grow further down, so I'm gonna wait until there are more chapters to make a proper review on this.

Mediocre

There's not much to say about the story, it's just another copy paste, seen 50 times over and all points raised by AstralRabbit are on spot, likewise, I'd have liked to have a more realistic adaptation of the MC to the character of the Empress, it's not something an office clerk can pull off out of the blue. Unfortunately stories that don't present those weak points are rare indeed, it's one of those genres where I've come to accept this kind of faults as a norm and while I don't favor them I can't judge them as harshly either, otherwise I'd be better off not reading manhwa and reading novels all together.
Leaving that aside, I find the MC agreeable enough and while sometimes the author blunders he does for the most part a decent job at giving excuses for the lack of coherence in the story, like how the MC is so good at sword-fighting when she never held a sword and so on, one may call it a sophism but making it plausible is good enough, I think. Oh, Art is good.
So overall, readable, better than most but still there are several better versionas of the same story imo.

I like this mostly to see how the emperor will develop a relationship with Venus. Right now he's only working with her for the benefits, I'm curious to see how that changes.

Seems like this author don't know that the term Emperor is a male term and they use it when referring to a female character... don't know if the character identifies as male (the character dresses like a male but is referred to as female... very confusing) but i won't be reading any more so i guess ill never know.

I did not rate it since i just skimmed the first chapter and it did not appeal to me so i choice to just comment on something that stood out to me.

I condemn the narrative stakes to death!

Power fantasy isekai aren't exactly known for narrative stakes. Generally the tried and true formula involves the main character effectively managing the situations they find themselves in, whether consciously or not, and this leads to the inevitable positive forward momentum of the protagonist. "I've Become the Villainous Emperor of a Novel" attempts to develop narrative stakes, but it neuters itself as quickly as it starts.

I find nothing detestable about this story. It's first few chapters even do a good job of setting up a rather compelling, and dangerous situation for the protagonist. This is not followed through on though. I just cannot believe it is this easy for the villainess to rewrite her own fate without any hard fought effort. She is gifted immediately with naive allies who apparently feel no concern, skepticism or anger at having been locked up and sentenced to death?? Even the duke set up to be coldly intellectual and rational appears to quickly melt in favour of the protagonist having an easy time of it.

Even when confronting the main antagonist and utilising a rather small, semantic flourish to condemn him, it doesn't even make sense in the context of what we have previously been shown in the story! She may not have explicitly stated how the other characters should be exiled/imprisoned, or suggested herself that they be executed , but she implicitly signs off on the execution at the very least. This is not brought up a single time by the accused duke who just flounders for "comedic value".

These gripes over-ride my ability to enjoy other aspects of this manhwa.
