Description

Miki Terayama saved Teru from getting roughed up by some punks. They’re both in love with other guys, but one thing leads to another, and they’re fooling around. Teru acts like a stray dog that hasn’t been fed in ten days. He consumes Miki’s love quick and rough, and that can be quite a pain in the butt!

It's perfect, but it makes me feel so lonely, like the world of this manga is a world removed from ours
I guess it's because it's hard for me to pin down the time when it could have happened, with its characters looking and acting a bit like they came out of a 70's movie

Gue udh liat nih manga berseliweran beberapa kali, tapi yg males gue baca karena art-nya terlalu klasik. Penasaran karena rating dan reviewnya yg bagus, akhirnya gue pun baca. And i glad that i give it try.

Through some character a bit annoying (that kashiwas i mean), but i did enjoy this story. Suka banget sm interaksi main couplenya, konyol, unik, dan sexy. Ughh... That damt hot kiss.

The story isnt boring than i through, well it quite interesting. Deep and a bit dark. Gue suka bagaimana cerita dan karakternya berkembang dengan baik.

Honestly, even through i like it, for some reason seem i will never read it again. But for you who not read it yet, please give it try.

I wa expecting this to be one of those weirdm surreal yaois, but maaaan!!! Just like with Yatamomo...the emotions are so real, and you are forced to root for the characters!! You really don't know how it will end!!,

Somebody Let the Dog Out

A stray dog gets a home at the end and that's all one really needs from a story. A struggle between the boundaries of friendship and romantic/sexual love, Motoni displays High School angst within these much older seeming characters (like I'm pretty sure half of them are just 30 years old and stuck in high school or something) in a nostalgia inducing way. Good read, though it did 'run around' a bit.

Amazing

This is my all time favourite story. The story itself is touching, the characters are great, and the way Motoni sensei showed the development of feelings was amazing. Miki's inner thoughts were remarkable way of narrating the story. This is the first manga that brought me to tears, in spite of not being a tragedy. I cried, I laughed, I was touched by all the emotions the MCs felt. The intimacy between Miki ans Chiaki was even greater showed throughout the development of the story. And yea, her art is so damn good, because the sex-scenes were not just two guys having sex. They were so charged with emotions, that made me tremble. Even the nasty dialogues they had during intercourse were meaningful emotionwise. Motoni sensei is a genius! Every word and sentence in her stories carries a deep meaning. I absolutely love this manga. I've read it for five times already, and it's never enough. 🙂

I never really liked yaoi with action genre, i just happened to be bored ang gave this manga a try and Holy shit! I'm worshipping this manga so bad that it made me cry literally i was like crying since the chapter where they had a fall out until the end that they got back together. It was so passionate, even without words you can feel how much they treasure each other, their sweetness is the epitome it is giving me a shudder throughout my body, the other characters is also pretty good at confusing me about their true feelings, i want more of this story i want more of their passion enveloping all my senses, i want to cry, to hurt, to smile, to laugh with this pair. I love them so much, i love how they understand each other, how they know how to console each other and how they know how much they love each other. I'm recommending this badly to those who are reading this please read it and be engulfed in the story.

Lovely and tragic.

I loved how the characters were all different and not all cliches - they had elements of actual human beings, which is unusual for a lot of manga. It was great.

This is a very tragic story in some ways. I had a very hard time with the rape and attempted rapes. I had to skim those parts. I am glad, though, that none of them were the typical yaoi "I love you so I'll rape you" things. None of that happened. But this still wasn't easy to read at times.

Overall, I adore the main couple. They're rough and loud and get along and fight. I thought it was awesome. Despite being a heavy story in places, overall this was not too heavy of a story (surprising but true).

OH! And also, they used condoms! Hooray! Safe sex is sexy sex, everyone! Safety is critical! 🙂

Haha, this gave me a good laugh. There were clever moments throughout the manga that made me chuckle. The plot is surprisingly deep. I think the mangaka was able to achieve exactly what they wanted in this work. The characters are really likeable and their personalities are shown though the dialogue with other characters. I would have liked if they were given even more development though. The art is nice and suits the style of the manga well.

Realistic emotions and amazing character development

I just finished reading Dog Style by Motoni Modoru and it was perfect.
Weird, broken, wretched, depressing, tragic but also uplifting, magnificent, breathtaking, god damn fucking beautiful and happy kind of perfect.
I haven't read anything this good in ages. All of the characters' back stories, interactions, personal developments and the final resolution wrenched my feelings out by the heart string, beat it to pulp and left gooey remains to melt in a fluffy cloud of bliss. Even the annoying male side characters turned out epically likeable by the end.

And did I mention that it has a happy ending? Something This Good Can't Have a Happy Ending just went flying out the window, through the stratosphere and over the moon.

I. Am. So. Done.
