There's so much inconsistency, it's as if the creator's went back on what their characters say and forget what they're writing.
I feel like the author made last changes due to Soohyun being more popular, so they change what they originally had plan for him. Because the flashback to the incident doesn't match up to how Daon acted towards Soohyun in the beginning. He was terrified yet when we saw the incident he was not, even days after he was not terrified of him. It's so obvious the creator's change Soohyun storyline because of his popularity (domestically).
What's also upsetting is that they have Sungyeon as the ML, yet they did not treat him as one nor gave him what a ML is required as a character. Every time we got something of him it was quickly dismissed by a follow up of Jaemin and Soohyun, completely taking away from Sunghyeon moments. Though I know this is Daon story and about his past but the flashbacks took too much of the story instead of present time and made it feel as if Jaemin or Soohyun would be the ML.
I might not like Jaemin but it also quite obvious everything was suddenly put on him as if he was the only problematic one, when it shouldve been put on Soohyun as well.
Honestly in all, you can tell the creator's just wanted to end the story as quickly as possible because of the constant fanwars and tension in the fandom. You can tell as time went on, they lost interest and motivation in their story.
Now the ending. It was realistic but not satisfying. Even Sungyeon fans weren't too pleased. You can't end it like that with no continuation showing us if Daon gets better. He might comfortable but we don't know if he truly love Sungyeon or how long he'll stay depressed. I heard we get side stories but I don't it happen within 2yrs.
This story had so much in beginning and went down hill just around the middle of S2. What a shame.
